Bu çalışmada, okul müdürlerinin ders denetim faaliyetlerinin öğretimsel liderlik bağlamında değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma nitel bir araştırma yönteminde, durum çalışması deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Nitel durum çalışmasının en belirgin özelliği belirlenen konu ile ilgili derinlemesine araştırma yapmaktır. Araştırmada amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden maksimum çeşitlilik ve ölçüt örneklemesi kullanılmıştır. Bundan dolayı, belirlenen problemle ilgili Çankaya, Yenimahalle ve Mamak ilçelerinde özel eğitim, anaokulu, ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan 15 okul müdürü çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada, okul müdürlerinin ders denetimine ilişkin görüşlerini belirleyebilmek için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Okulu ve öğretmeni daha iyi tanıması ve denetimde etkililiği sağlamak için ders denetimlerini okul müdürünün yapması gerektiği belirtilmiştir. Ders denetimi ile ilgili yönetmelik değişikliği okul müdürleri tarafından olumlu karşılanmıştır. Okul müdürü ders denetimini yapıcı bir anlayışla yapmalı, denetim yaptığı öğretmene rol model olmalıdır. Öğretim lideri olarak ortak bir vizyon oluşturmalı, bütün öğretmenleri belirlenen vizyona ulaşmaları için motive etmelidir.
This study aims to evaluate school managers’ course audit activities in the context of teaching leadership. This study is designed in a quality research method, in the case study pattern. The obvious feature of the quality state study is to do a thorough research on the subject determined. Maximum diversity and measurement of sampling methods were used for the purpose of the research. Therefore, 15 school directors working groups in the districts of Chankaya, Yenimahalle and Mamak in relation to the problem identified, special education, primary school, secondary school and high school. In the study, a semi-configured interview form was used to determine the opinions of school managers about the course audit. It is noted that the school manager should do the course audits in order to better recognize the school and the teacher and ensure the effectiveness of the audit. The regulatory change in the course audit was positively welcomed by the school directors. The school manager must do the class review with a constructive understanding, and the teacher must have a role model for the teacher he inspects. As a teaching leader, he must create a common vision, motivate all teachers to reach a determined vision.
It has been aimed to evaluate the course supervision activities of school principals in the context of instructional leadership. This study is designed in a qualitative research method, in case study design. The most prominent feature of the qualitative case study is the in-depth study of the identified subject. Maximum diversity and criterion sampling methods were used for research purpose sampling methods. A working group consisting of 15 school principals performing in private educational institutions, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary school and high school in the districts of Çankaya, Yenimahalle and Mamak with regard to the problem determined was formed. In the study, a semi-structured interview form was used to determine the opinions of school principals on course supervision. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the course audits should be realized by school principals in order them to better define the school and the teacher and to ensure effectiveness in the supervision. Regulation changes related to course audits were welcomed by school principals. The headmaster should conduct the supervision in a positive way and constitute a role model for the teacher. He should constitute a common vision as a teaching leader and motivate all the teachers to reach the designated vision.
