Okul Yöneticilerinin Problem Çözme Yöntemleri Üzerine Nitel Bir Çalışma

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı okul yöneticilerinin görevlerini yerine getirirken karşılaştıkları problemlere ilişkin hangi yöntem ve teknikleri uyguladıkları ve problemlere ve sonuçlarına nasıl yaklaştıklarını tespit etmektir. Araştırma nitel yöntemle yürütülmüş olup olgubilim (fenemenoloji) deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kahramanmaraş ili Dulkadiroğlu ilçesinde görev yapmakta olan 10 okul müdürü oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmaya dâhil edilecek verileri toplamak için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu tasarlanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmış olup toplanan veriler tema ve alt temalara ayrılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgulara göre okul müdürlerinin akademik ve bürokratik problemlerinin neler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu problemleri çözmek için hangi yaklaşımları ortay koydukları başarışı olmalarını sağlayan ölçütlerin neler olduğu ve ulaşılan sonuçları nasıl değerlendirdikleri çalışmanın kapsamını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma sonucuna göre; okul müdürlerinin problemlerin çözümünde bilimsel yöntemleri tercih etmedikleri daha çok tecrübe, alışkanlık, akılcı ve tarafların çıkarlarını gözeterek süreci yürüttükleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

A Qualitative Work on School Managers' Problem Solving Methods

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to identify the methods and techniques that school managers apply to the problems they encounter when performing their tasks and how they approach the problems and their consequences. The research is carried out by the quality method and is designed in the phenomenological pattern. The research work group is made up of 10 school directors who are working in the Kahramanmaraş or Dulkadiroğlu district. It is designed a semi-configured interview form developed by the researcher to collect the data to be included in the study. In the analysis of data, the visual content analysis method was used and the data collected was analyzed by dividing themes and sub themes. The findings from the discussions were found to identify the academic and bureaucratic problems of the school directors. The scope of the study is what the criteria are to make them successful and how they evaluate the achieved results. According to the study, the school managers have achieved the conclusion that they are conducting the process by observing the interests of more experience, habits, intellectuals and parties than they prefer scientific methods in solving problems.

The aim of this study is to determine which methods and techniques school principals apply to the problems they encounter while fulfilling their duties and how they approach the problems and their results. The research was conducted with qualitative method and designed in phenomenology design. The study group of the research consists of 10 school principals working in Dulkadiroğlu district of Kahramanmaraş province. A semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher was designed to collect the data to be included in the study. Descriptive content analysis method was used to analyze the data and the collected data were analyzed by dividing them into themes and sub-themes. According to the findings obtained from the interviews, the academic and bureaucratic problems of school principals were identified. Which approaches they put forward to solve these problems, what are the criteria that enable them to be successful and how they evaluate the results achieved constitute the scope of the study. According to the results of the study, it was concluded that school principals do not prefer scientific methods in solving problems, but rather carry out the process by considering experience, habit, rationality and the interests of the parties.
