Eğitim fakültesi sosyal bilgiler öğrencilerinin son sınıfta öğrendiklerini pratiğe döktükleri ve yaparak yaşayarak öğrenme imkanı buldukları uygulamalı eğitimin, son sınıf öğretmen adaylarına tecrübe ve onları gelecekteki mesleklerine hazırlama imkanı sunduğu bir gerçektir. Uygulamalı eğitim süreci uygulama danışman hocası, öğretmen adayı ve staj öğretmeni olmak üzere üç temel unsurdan oluşmaktadır. Öğretmen adayı, uygulama süreci boyunca birçok sorunlar ile karşı karşıya kalmaktadır. Bu nedenle bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının uygulamalı eğitim süresince hangi sorunlarla karşılaştıkları, sorunlara nasıl çözüm ürettikleri ve uygulamalı eğitimin işleyişi hususundaki görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma Amasya Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği son sınıf öğrencilerinden kartopu örnekleme ile seçilen 7 öğretmen adayı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nitel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının okuldaki sınıfların kalabalık oluşu, staj okul idaresinin katı tutumu, okullardaki materyal eksikliği, uygulamalı eğitim dersinin sınıf olarak daha erken başlanması gerektiği gibi konularda sıkıntı yaşadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Bu ve benzeri sıkıntıların öğretmen adaylarını öğretmenlik mesleğinden soğuttuğu ve başka alanlara yönelmeye mecbur bıraktığı görülmüştür. Yapılan görüşmelerde öğretmen adaylarının uygulamalı eğitimin olumlu taraflarını belirtmeleri ve yaşanan sorunlara çözüm önerileri getirmeleri sağlanmıştır. Problem durumlarına karşı getirilen bazı önerilerde uygulamalı eğitimin bir senelik bir zaman dilimine sığdırılamayacağı ve ehemmiyet bakımından farklı bir yere sahip olan uygulamalı eğitimin en azından iki yıla yedirilerek verilmesi gerektiği, öğretmen adayı, okul idaresi ve staj öğretmeni çerçevesinde uyumlu bir şekilde bu dersin öğretmen adayının daha aktif olacağı şekilde programlanması gerektiği, öğretmen adayının atama kaygısı gütmeden başka işlere yönelme gereksinimi duymadan uygulamalı eğitimi öğretmen olacağına inanarak yapması gerekti gibi birçok çözüm önerileri öğretmen adayları ifade etmişlerdir.
Education faculty social information is a fact that the practical education in which students put into practice what they learned in the last class and find the opportunity to learn by doing it, provides the experience to the last class teacher candidates and the opportunity to prepare them for their future professions. The applied training process consists of three basic elements, including the practice consultant teacher, the teacher candidate and the internship teacher. The teacher candidate is faced with many problems throughout the application process. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to show teachers candidates what problems they encounter during the practical training period, how they produce solutions to problems and their views on the functioning of practical education. The research was carried out with 7 teachers candidates selected with a cartridge sample from the final class students of the Amasya University's Social Information Teaching. The research method used a semi-configured conversation technique. The research has found that teachers candidates have trouble in topics such as the crowd of classes in the school, the rigorous attitude of the internship school administration, the lack of material in the schools, the application training course should be started earlier as a class. These and similar difficulties have shown that teachers’ candidates have been cooled from the teaching profession and forced them to go to other fields. In the interviews, the teachers candidates were provided to identify the positive aspects of practical education and to bring suggestions for solutions to the problems that occur. In some suggestions presented against the problem situations, the applicable education should not be adjusted to a one-year time range and the applicable education, which has a different place in terms of competence, should be given at least for two years, the teacher candidate, the school administration and the internship teacher should be harmoniously programmed in such a way that the teacher candidate will be more active, the teacher candidate should be done by believing that the teacher candidate will be the applicable education teacher without the need to address other tasks.
