Algılanan Örgütsel Desteğin Örgüt Sağlığı Üzerindeki Etkisi: Hastane Çalışanlarına Yönelik Bir Araştırma

Abstract:

Amaç: Bu çalışma, işgören tarafından algılanan örgütsel desteğin örgüt sağlığı üzerindeki etkisini incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yöntem: Araştırmanın evrenini Ege Bölgesi’nde bulunan bir ilin Sağlık Bakanlığı’na bağlı devlet hastanesi çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma, Ağustos-Eylül 2019 tarihleri arasında ilgili hastanede ulaşılabilen ve çalışmaya katılmayı gönüllü olarak kabul eden 324 çalışan ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için SPSS v.22 paket programı kullanılarak; Student-t Testi, One Way Anova, Korelasyon ve Regresyon analizi ile veri çözümlemeleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda korelasyon analizi yapılmış ve algılanan örgütsel destek ile örgüt sağlığı arasında pozitif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde bir ilişkinin olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu sonuca göre çalışanların algıladığı örgütsel destek arttıkça örgüt sağlığı algıları da artış göstermektedir. Sonuç: Algılanan örgütsel desteğin örgüt sağlığı üzerindeki etkisinin hastane çalışanları örnekleminde incelendiği araştırma sonuçlarına göre; hastane çalışanlarının algılanan örgütsel destek ve örgüt sağlığı algıları düşük düzeyde tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları değerlendirildiğinde, örgüt sağlığının geliştirilmesinde ve çalışanlarca olumlu biçimde algılanmasında, algılanan örgütsel destek önemli bir bağımsız değişken olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu nedenle örgüt sağlığını geliştirmek isteyen yöneticilerin çalışanlarına destek olması önerilmektedir.

Abstract:

Purpose: This study was conducted with the aim of examining the impact of organizational support perceived by the employer on the organization’s health. Method: The universe of research is formed by employees of the state hospital associated with the Ministry of Health of a state located in the Egean region. The study was conducted with 324 employees who were able to reach the relevant hospital between August and September 2019 and who voluntarily agreed to participate in the work. In the study, the survey form was used as a data collection tool. For data analysis using the SPSS v.22 package program; data analysis with Student-t Test, One Way Anova, Correlation and Regression analysis was carried out. Results: According to the purpose of the study, the correlation analysis was carried out and found that there was a statistically meaningful relationship between organizational support and organizational health in a positive direction. According to this conclusion, as the organizational support that employees perceive increases, the organization’s health perceptions also increase. Results: According to the research results examined in the sample of the health of the organizational support detected; the organizational support detected by the hospital staff and the organizational health perceptions detected at a low level. When the research results are evaluated, in the development of the organization’s health and in the positive perception by employees, the organizational support perceived appears as an important independent variable. It is therefore recommended that managers who want to improve the health of the organization support their employees.

Aim: This study was carried out to examine the effect of the organizational support perceived by the employee on the organizational health. Method: The population of the research is composed of state hospital employees affiliated to the Ministry of Health of a province in the Aegean Region. The research was carried out with 324 employees who were available at the relevant hospital and who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. In the study, a questionnaire form was used as a data collection tool. Using SPSS v.22 package program for data analysis; data analyzes were carried out with Student-t Test, One Way Anova, Correlation and Regression analysis. Findings: In line with the purpose of the study, a correlation analysis was made and it was found that there was a positive and statistically significant relationship between perceived organizational support and organizational health. According to this result, as the organizational support perceived by the employees increases, the perceptions of organizational health increase. Results: According to the results of the research in which the effect of perceived organizational support on organizational health was examined in the sample of hospital staff; perceived organizational support and organizational health perceptions of hospital staff were found to be low. When the results of the research are evaluated, the perceived organizational support appears to be an important independent variable in improving the health of the organization and perceiving it positively by the employees. For this reason, it is recommended that managers who want to improve organizational health support their employees.
