Abstract:

This study is aimed at studying the attitudes of high school students towards the environment in terms of various variables. The work group is made up of 502 secondary school students who study in two secondary schools located in the Giresun district in the 2016-2017 educational year. The research method was used. The research has used the Environmental Attitude Measurement (CTO) as a data collection tool. The data is analyzed in the SPSS package program. For the necessary statistical solutions of the data collected within the framework of the general purpose of the study, the graphic statistical methods used frequency and arithmetic average, and for the discrepancy of differences between independent variables, the independent t-test and the single-factor ANOVA test were used. When the results were studied, it was determined that students had differences according to class levels and gender.
