Ulus-devletin ortaya çıkması ve uluslararası sistemde belirleyici temel aktör rolünü üstlenmesi küreselleşmenin zamanla hız kazanması sonucunda hem yapısal hem de işlevsel olarak sorgulanmasına ve egemenlik alanında bazı aşınmaların olmasına neden olmuştur. Son yılların popüler tartışma konusu olan küreselleşme sürecinde toplumsal yapı ve kurumların yanı sıra ulus-devlet ve uluslararası sistem de önemli dönüşüm geçirmiş, bazı araştırmacılara göre ulus-devlet etkinliğini tamamen kaybederken bazı araştırmacılara göre ise zorunlu olarak küreselleşmenin etkilerine uygun olarak dönüşüm geçirmiştir. Ulus-devlet küreselleşme sürecinde bazı yetkilerini çok uluslu organizasyonlara, uluslararası çok uluslu şirketlere, ulus üstü yapılara ya da yerel yönetimlere devretmek zorunda kalmıştır. Bu çalışma da küreselleşmenin ulus-devlet üzerindeki değişimi ve uluslararası sistemin dönüşümü üzerinde yoğunlaşılmış, çalışma sonucunda küreselleşme süreci ile değişen uluslararası sisteme karşılık olarak ulus-devletin de değişim ve dönüşüm geçirdiği sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ulus-devletin kontrol mekanizması kaybolmuştur. Ulus-devlet küreselleşme ile birlikte katılımcı demokrasi, insan hakları, özgürlük, bölgeselleşme, yerelleşme ve şeffaflık konularında yeniden şekillenmek adına zorlanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda yeni reformlar, ekonomik düzenlemeler ve kültürel politikalar geliştirmek zorunda kalmıştır. Ulus-devlet bu değişimlere bağlı olarak merkeziyetçi yapısından uzaklaşmış ve yerelleşmeye, bazı alanlarda yetkilerini ulus üstü organizasyonlara ya da yerel otoritelere devretmiştir.
The emergence of the nation-state and its key role in the international system, as a result of the acceleration of globalization over time, has led to both structural and functional questioning and some degradation in the field of sovereignty. In the process of globalization, which is a popular debate in recent years, the social structures and institutions, as well as the national-state and international system have undergone significant transformations, some researchers believe that the national-state has completely lost its effectiveness, while some researchers believe that it has necessarily undergone transformations in accordance with the effects of globalization. In the process of globalization, the national government has been forced to transfer some of its powers to multinational organizations, international multinational companies, supranational structures or local governments. This study also revealed the result of the change and transformation of the nation-state in response to the international system, which was focused on the change of globalization over the nation-state and the transformation of the international system, and the result of the study was the result of the change and transformation of the nation-state. The national control system has disappeared. National-state, along with globalization, is challenged to re-form participating democracy, human rights, freedom, regionalization, localization and transparency issues. In this context, new reforms, economic regulations and cultural policies have to be developed. The nation-state, due to these changes, has removed its centralistic structure and transferred its powers in some areas to top-national organizations or local authorities to localization.
The emergence of the nation-state and its role as the decisive actor in the international system caused globalization to be questioned both structurally and functionally as a result of the acceleration and some erosion in the area of sovereignty. In the globalization process, which has been a popular topic of discussion in recent years, the nation-state and the international system, as well as the social structure and institutions, have undergone a significant transformation, according to some researchers, the nation-state has completely lost its effectiveness, and according to some researchers, it has undergone a transformation in accordance with the effects of globalization. The nation-state had to delegate some of its powers to multinational organizations, international multinational companies, supranational structures or local governments in the globalization process. This study focuses on the change of globalization over the nation-state and the transformation of the international system, and as a result of the study, it has been revealed that the nation-state has also undergone change and transformation in response to the changing international system. The control mechanism of the nation-state has been lost. With globalization, the nation-state has been forced to reshape in terms of participatory democracy, human rights, freedom, regionalization, localization and transparency. In this context, it had to develop new reforms, economic regulations and cultural policies. Due to these changes, the nation-state has moved away from its centralist structure and transferred its powers to localization and to supranational organizations or local authorities in some areas
