İnönü Muharebeleri Milli Mücadele’nin önemli kırılma ve dönüm noktalarından biridir. Türk milletinin yokluk içinde varlık mücadelesi verdiği bu muharebelerde elde edilen neticelerden sonra İstiklal savaşında yeni bir aşamaya geçilmiş, bu muharebelerin yaratmış olduğu iklimin bir neticesi olarak içerde TBMM Hükümeti’nin otoritesi tesis edilmiş, kuruluş aşamasındaki Düzenli ordunun akıbeti hakkındaki tartışmalar nihayetlenmiş, dışarda ise TBMM Hükümeti muhatapları tarafından resmi olarak tanınmaya başlanmıştır. Bu muharebelerde istiklal uğrunda şehadete yürüyen milletin evlatları, şehadetleri ile devlet otoritesinin tesisi ve memlekette düzenin sağlanması sürecine de önemli katkılarda bulunmuşlardır.Bu çalışmada, İnönü Muharebeleri’nde şehit düşen subayların bilgilerinin kaydedildiği Genelkurmay Başkanlığı ATASE Arşivi’nden tespit ve temin edilen “Birinci-İkinci İnönü Muharebeleri’nde Şehit Olan Ümera ve Zabitanın Künye Defteri” adlı defter esas alınarak İnönü Muharebeleri’nde şehit olan üst rütbeli subaylar ile zabitlerin künye bilgileri, doğum tarihleri, şehadet tarihleri, şehadet mahalleri ve suret-i şehadetlerine ilişkin bilgiler ortaya konulmuş, bu bilgiler üzerinden İnönü Muharebeleri’nde şehit olan subaylar hakkında çeşitli istatistiklere dayalı değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır.
It is one of the major breakthroughs and turnpoints of the national struggle. After the results obtained in these struggles that the Turkish nation gave the existence struggle in the absence, it has passed into a new stage in the Eastcal war, as a result of the climate that these struggles created, the authority of the TBMM Government has been established inside, the discussions on the continuity of the Regular Army in the establishment stage have been terminated, and outside the TBMM Government has begun to be officially recognized by the interlocutors. In these battles the children of the nation who went to witness for the purposes of the establishment, their witnesses and the establishment of the state authority and the process of ensuring the order in the country have also made significant contributions.
