Abstract :

In this article, the truth of the system of Atatürk’s Idea is stated as a universal ideology one that is not just accepted in Turkey but one which is accepted throughout the world. It is explanied that it did not emerge suddenly around the table but was one which emerged from the guidance of science, the mind being inspired by the realities of life. The main target of Atatürk’s Ideology was to improve the contemporary civilization of Turkey by making national soverignty inseparable from absolute independence. The unique role played by ATATÜRK was his vision which was responsible both for the creation and the development of this system. In this article, some examples are given from his speeches and letters. Furthermore, the problematic and harmonized issues between Atatürk’s Thinking System and European Union have been discussed
