Sınıf II malokluzyonların tedavisinde geçici ankraj üniteleri ile üst molar dişlerin distalizasyonu son dönemde oldukça popüler hale gelmiştir. Premolar dişlerin mezializasyonu, anterior dişlerin protrüzyonu gibi istenmeyen yan etkileri elimine etmesi nedeniyle geçici ankraj üniteleri diğer ağız içi metotlara göre tercih edilmektedir. 16 yıl 3 ay yaşındaki kadın hasta kliniğimize üst dişlerinin önde olması ve şikayetiyle başvurmuştur. Klinik muayenede konveks profil, 6,4 mm overjet ve Angle Sınıf II malokluzyon tespit edilmiştir. Hastaya modifiye nance apareyi ve palatinal minivida destekli üst molar distalizasyonunu takiben sabit ortodontik tedavi planlanmıştır. Palatinalde bulunan paslanmaz çelik tele geçirilen açık sarmal yay, gurin-lock vidası ile sıkıştırılarak her bir molara 400 gram kuvvet uygulanmıştır. Overcorrection elde edilene kadar distalizasyona devam edilmiştir. Modifiye nance apareyi ve palatinal minivida destekli üst molar distalizasyonu ile hasta kooperasyonuna gerek kalmadan Sınıf I molar ilişki elde edilmiştir. Bu yaklaşım Sınıf II malokluzyona sahip molar distalizasyonu planlanan hastaların tedavisinde etkili bir seçenektir.
In the treatment of class II malocluzyons, the distalation of upper molar teeth with temporary anchor units has become quite popular in recent times. Because the intervaluation of the premolar teeth eliminates unwanted side effects such as the protrusion of the anterior teeth, temporary anchor units are preferred according to other oral methods. A 16-year-old woman, 3 months old, applied to our patient clinic with a complaint that her upper teeth were in front of us. In the clinical examination, a convex profile, a 6.4 mm overjet and angle class II maloclution were detected. A fixed orthodontic treatment is planned after the patient's modified adhesive appear and the upper molar distalation supported by palatinal minivida. In palatinal stainless steel tele passed through the open shrimp, compressed with a gurin-lock wire, each molar was applied 400 grams of strength. The distalation continued until overcorrection was achieved. Modified cluster and palatinal minivida supported upper molar distalation with patient cooperation without the need for class I molar relationship was achieved. This approach is an effective option in the treatment of planned patients with molar distillation with class II maloclution.
