Northern Iraq is relatively the most democratic region of the Middle East which is exposed to political changes constantly and far from stability. Despite the relative stability, radical terrorist ideologies such as Islamic State of Iraq and Syria has already been active in the area. In our study, Goran Movement will be assessed by considering the importance of Northern Iraq’s democratization and occuring an alternative movement against Kurdistan Democratic Party and Kurdistan Patriotic Union that is a political monopoly after the American invasion in the terms of its party program, political improvements which is the time between foundation of the party and the last elections by current ISIS ativities are excluded from the scope
