Abstract:

In the framework of this study, the first dictionary of the Turkish language history, Divnu Lügti't-Türk, the place, location, sound and shape knowledge characteristics of the colour names in the word existence, the state of Altayca, Hakasca and Tuvacada, from the Southern Siberian Turkish languages, was tried to be identified. Kashgarli Mahmud has skillfully processed the words he identified by turning between the Turkish lengths. In this direction, it carries a vocabulary character that is composed of various Turkish lengths. Divnu Lügti't-Türk has been preferred as a basic source of application for the existence of the word and due to the diversity of the existence of the word it contains. As known, the main color names make up an important part of the basic word existence. From this point to the point, the thought that the elements of the basic word’s existence have been changed, the status of the color names has been identified by an art-time review. In the framework of the study, it has been tried to determine what the words about the color concept in Divnu Lügti't-Türk are, which of the identified words are used in the South Siberian Turkish languages -Altay, Tuva, Hakas - if used in the same way or if there are differences in the sound and shape. Colour names that cannot preserve their existence, new names used in place and findings about their origin have been obtained. Thus, a cutting of the state of the Turkish language over 900 years in this process of basic word existence on the concept of color has been revealed.
