Bu çalışmada, hastane öncesi acil sağlık hizmetleri çalışanlarında Covid-19 fobisinin algılanan stres üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışmada örneklem seçimine gidilmemiş olup, tüm evrene ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır (n=102). Çalışma Temmuz 2020-Ağustos 2020 tarihleri arasında yürütülmüş ve çalışma verileri yüz yüze olarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistikler, t, ANOVA, Pearson korelasyon ve basit regresyon analizleri kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, katılımcıların yaklaşık 3’te birinin algılanan stres düzeylerinin orta ve yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Katılımcıların Covid-19 fobisi düzeylerinin ise düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir. Algılanan stres açısından, 30 yaş ve altında olan, bekar olan ve paramedik unvanıyla çalışan katılımcıların stres düzeyleri anlamlı şekilde daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Benzer şekilde kadınların, 30 yaş ve altındaki katılımcıların ve Covid-19 tanısı alanların Covid-19 fobisi düzeyleri anlamlı şekilde daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Covid-19 fobisi düzeyleri ile algılanan stres düzeyleri arasında orta düzeyde (r=.68), pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Dolayısıyla, hastane öncesi acil sağlık hizmetleri çalışanlarının Covid-19 fobisi düzeyleri yükseldikçe, algıladıkları stres düzeyleri de artış göstermektedir. Ayrıca, yapılan regresyon analizi sonucunda EMS professionals’ın Covid-19 fobilerindeki bir birimlik artışın, algıladıkları stres düzeyini 0.46 oranında artırdığı ifade edilebilir. Hastane öncesi acil sağlık hizmetleri çalışanlarında Covid-19 fobisi ve algınan stresin birbiriyle ilişkili olduğu ve bu ilişkinin belirlenmesine yönelik daha geniş çaplı araştırmaların yapılması ve buna yönelik girişimsel uygulamaların planlanması önerilmektedir.
In this study, the effect of Covid-19 phobia on detected stress in pre-hospital emergency health care workers was studied. It has not been done in the course of the study, but it has been tried to reach the entire universe. by n of 102. The study was conducted between July 2020 and August 2020 and the work data was collected face-to-face. Data analysis used visual statistics, t, ANOVA, Pearson correlation and simple regression analysis. The results of the analysis found that about 1 in 3 participants had a medium and high stress level. The levels of Covid-19 phobia are low. From the point of view of the stress detected, the stress levels of participants who are aged 30 and under, single and working with the paramedical title were significantly higher. Similarly, women, participants under the age of 30 and those diagnosed with Covid-19 had significantly higher levels of Covid-19 phobia. A positive and meaningful relationship between the levels of Covid-19 phobia and the stress levels perceived (r=.68) was identified. Therefore, as the Covid-19 phobia levels of pre-hospital emergency health care workers rise, the stress levels they perceive also rise. Furthermore, as a result of the regression analysis, an unity increase in the Covid-19 fobies of EMS professionals, the stress level they perceive is 0. It can be said to be increased by 46. In pre-hospital emergency health care staff, it is recommended that Covid-19 phobia and detected stress are related to each other and that more extensive research is conducted to determine this relationship and the planning of initiative practices toward it.
