Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de 2003-2020 yılları arasında kariyer tatmini konusunda yapılan tez çalışmalarının kapsamlı ve bütüncül bir şekilde analiz edilmesidir. Bu çalışmada, içerik analizi türlerinden, betimsel içerik analizi yöntemi ve kategorik çözümleme tekniği kullanılmıştır. YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanında yer alan, 2003-2020 yılları arasında yapılan kariyer tatmini ile ilgili tezler çalışmanın evrenini oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın örneklemi, çalışmada belirlenen ölçütlere uyan Türkiye’de yapılmış, ölçütlere uyan, erişime açık 34 tez (yüksek lisans ve doktora) oluşturmaktadır. Verileri toplamak için kariyer tatminine ilişkin yapılan tezleri incelme formu hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda toplanan veriler Excel programına aktarılmış, özet tablolar kullanılmıştır. Akabinde görsel olarak tablolaştırmalar yapılarak, elde edilen verilerin frekansları verilerek analizler yapılmıştır. Tezler incelendiğinde, kariyer tatmini konusunda yapılan tezlerin; en fazla sayıda 2019 yılında yapıldığı, devlet üniversitelerinde daha çok tez çalışması yapıldığı, İstanbul ve Ankara ve Antalya illerinde örneklemin yoğunlaştığı, tezlerin çoğunluğunun yüksek lisans tezi olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Tezlerde çoğunlukla Kariyer tatmini konusu ile örgütsel bağlılık, demografik değişkenler ve iş tatmini konularının ilişkilendirildiği tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmaların tamamına yakının nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanıldığı, verilerin anket yöntemi ile toplandığı, kolayda örneklem yönteminin kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Tezlerde en fazla örneklem gruplarının sırasıyla şirket personelleri, otel çalışanları ve banka personelleri olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca kariyer tatmini konusunda en fazla tez çalışmasının Marmara Üniversitesi’nde yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Özellikle bu konuda yapılması planlanan gelecek araştırmalarda, ortaya çıkan kuram ve istatistiki analizler derinlemesine ele alınabilir.
The aim of this study is to analyze the thesis work on career satisfaction in Turkey in a comprehensive and comprehensive way between 2003 and 2020. In this study, from the types of content analysis, the visual content analysis method and category analysis technique were used. The YÖK National Thesis Center is located in the database, the theses related to career satisfaction made between 2003-2020 forms the universe of study. The sample of the study consists of 34 theses (graduate degree and doctorate) made in Turkey, in accordance with the criteria specified in the study. The examination form of the theses on career satisfaction is prepared to collect data. The data collected as a result of the work was transmitted to the Excel program, the summary tables were used. In the end, visual tables were made, the frequencies of the data obtained were given and analysed. When the theses are studied, it is clear that the theses on career satisfaction; the most of them were done in 2019, the more thesis studies were done at the state universities, the sampling was concentrated in the provinces of Istanbul and Ankara and Antalya, the majority of the theses were master theses. The theses have mostly found that the subject of career satisfaction is associated with the subject of organizational commitment, demographic variables and job satisfaction. It has been shown that the research method is used by the approximate quantitative research method, the data is collected by the survey method, and the sampling method is easily used. In the theses, the most sampling groups were established by the company staff, hotel staff and bank staff, respectively. It is also found that the most thesis studies on career satisfaction were conducted at the University of Marmara. In the future research planned to be done in particular on this subject, the emerging theory and statistical analysis can be thoroughly discussed.
