Türkiye’de kamu güvenliği yurtiçi ve yurtdışında kolluk kuvvetleri aracılığı ile sağlamaktadır. Ancak son dönemde ihtiyaca hasıl olarak gerek kamu da gerekse de tüzel ve özel kurumlarda güvenliği sağlamada kolluğa yardımcı olarak özel güvenlik hizmetleri veren kurumlar boy göstermeye başlamıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’nin önde gelen bir kamu üniversitesinin birinin özel güvenlik personeli özelinde iş memnuniyeti ölçeğinden yola çıkarak anket tekniği ile güvenlik denilen olgunun dünyada ve Türkiye'de çıkış nedenine, gelişimine, yönetim ve güvenlik kavramlarından yola çıkılarak özel güvenlik sisteminde karşılaşılan sorunlarına bilimsel paradigma getirmek amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca Türkiye’de bugüne kadar özel güvenlik olgusu üzerine yeterli sayıda inceleme yapılmamış olup özel güvenlik hizmetlerindeki sorunların çözümüne yol göstermesi açısından önemlidir.
In Turkey, public security is provided through national and foreign law enforcement forces. However, in recent period, the need has been given to the public and private institutions as well as to provide security in the legal and private institutions as well as to provide special security services to the staff. The aim of the study is to bring a scientific paradigm to the problems encountered in the private security system by starting from the work satisfaction scale of one of the leading public universities in Turkey with the survey technique and the outcome cause of the incident called security in the world and in Turkey by starting from the management and security concepts. It is also important that there has not been a sufficient number of investigations on the special security incident in Turkey so far and that it is important to address the problems in the special security services.
