Siber zorbalık dinamik, etkin ve hareketli bir yapıya sahiptir. İçinde bulunduğumuz çağın özellikleri, yeni zorbalık şekillerinin ortaya çıkmasına ve siber zorbalığın etkin bir biçimde gerçekleşmesine neden olmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, lise öğrenimine yeni başlayan öğrencilerin siber zorba davranışlarda bulunma durumlarını incelemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2019-2020 eğitim ve öğretim yılının ikinci yarıyılında, Afyonkarahisar ili İscehisar ilçesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 102 (66 kız, 36 erkek), 9.sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda Siber Zorbalık Ölçeği (SZÖ) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde frekans, yüzde, ki-kare, t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda, lise öğrencilerinin siber zorbalık davranışlarında bulunma düzeylerinin çok çok düşük olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ölçekten alınan puanın ortalaması 28,9’dur. Bir diğer deyişle 9.sınıf öğrencileri, siber zorbalık davranışlarında bulunmamaktadır. Cinsiyet değişkeninin siber zorbalık ile ilişkisine ilişkin yapılan analizlerde cinsiyetin siber zorbalık üzerinde bir etkisi olmadığı görülmüştür. Teknolojinin bu kadar yaygın bir şekilde kullanılması birçok kişinin potansiyel siber zorbalık kurbanı olmasına neden olmaktadır. Pandemi ile birlikte uzaktan eğitim sürecinin hayatımıza dahil olması ile birçok öğrenci, eğlence amaçlı, şaka maksatlı veya daha da kötüsü intikam almak için siber zorbalığı kullanır duruma gelmektedir. Bundan dolayı okul rehber öğretmeni, bilgi-iletişim teknolojilerinin doğru ve ölçülü kullanılması ve siber zorbalığın belirti, sebep ve sonuçlarının neler olduğu, siber zorbalıkla başa çıkma ve mücadele etme gibi konularda velilere, ailelere, öğretmenlere ve öğrencilere yönelik önleyici tedbir olarak eğitimler düzenleyebilir.
Cyberbullying has a dynamic, active and active structure. The characteristics of the age we live in cause new forms of bullying to emerge and cyberbullying to take place effectively. The purpose of this research is to examine the cyberbullying behaviors of students who have just started their high school education. The study group of the research consists of 102 (66 female, 36 male), 9th grade students studying in the second semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, in the district of İscehisar, Afyonkarahisar province. As a data collection tool, the Cyber Bullying Scale (CBS) was used in line with the purpose of the study. The survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. Frequency, percentage, chi-square, t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used in the analysis of the obtained data. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the level of cyberbullying behaviors of high school students is very, very low. The average of the score obtained from the scale is 28,9. In other words, 9th grade students do not engage in cyberbullying behaviors. In the analysis of the relationship between the gender variable and cyberbullying, it was seen that gender did not have an effect on cyberbullying. The widespread use of technology causes many to become potential victims of cyberbullying. With the introduction of the distance education process into our lives with the pandemic, many students use cyberbullying for entertainment purposes, jokes or worse, revenge. Therefore, the school counselor can organize trainings as a preventive measure for parents, families, teachers and students on the correct and measured use of information and communication technologies, the symptoms, causes and consequences of cyberbullying, coping with and combating cyberbullying.
