Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, sağlık yöneticilerinin tedarik zinciri yönetiminde dış kaynaklardan yararlanma noktasındaki algılarını değerlendirmektir. Yöntem: Araştırma için Erzincan ve Erzurum illerinde faaliyet gösteren toplam 15 hastanenin başhekimi, başhekim yardımcıları, hastane müdürleri ve müdür yardımcılarına Kasım 2018 - Ocak 2019 tarihleri arasında mail ve yüz yüze görüşme yoluyla anket uygulanmıştır. Toplam 103 hastane yöneticisinin dönüş yaptığı anketler SPSS 22 paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda yöneticilerin en çok sırasıyla güvenlik, temizlik, kafeterya ve yemek hizmetlerini dışarıdan aldıkları, tedarikçilerle çok sıklıkla sorun yaşadıkları ve bu sorunların daha çok ödeme ve gecikmelerden kaynaklandığı, çoğunun tedarikçilerinden memnun olmadığı ve tedarikçi firma seçiminde güven kriterini ön planda tuttukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Özgünlük: Literatürde dış kaynak kullanımı konusunda birçok araştırma yapılmasına rağmen özellikle tedarikçi ilişkileri ve seçimi konusunda yöneticilere yol gösterecek sınırlı sayıda çalışma bulunduğu görülmektedir. Ayrıca sağlık sektöründe dış kaynak kullanımı noktasında sağlık yöneticilerinin tedarikçilerine yönelik algılarının değerlendirildiği çalışmalara da az rastlanmaktadır. Bu nedenle bu çalışma, hem yaşanan problemler çerçevesinde çözüm önerilerinde bulunmaya, hem de literatürde konu ile ilgili boşluğu da gidermeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to evaluate health managers’ perceptions of the point of use of external resources in supply chain management. Method: The survey was carried out by mail and face-to-face interviews to the general doctors, assistants, hospital directors and assistants of 15 hospitals operating in the provinces of Erzincan and Erzurum for research between November 2018 and January 2019. A total of 103 hospitals managers returned to the survey was analyzed in the SPSS 22 package program. Results: According to the data obtained, the result was that the managers received the security, cleaning, cafeteria and food services from the outside, that they often had problems with suppliers, and that these problems were more due to payments and delays, that most of them were not satisfied with their suppliers, and that they held the trust criterion in the choice of the supplier company at the forefront. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the managers’ perceptions of outsourcing in supply chain management in health sector. Methodology: A questionnaire has been applied to head physician, deputy head physicians, hospital managers and deputy managers of hospitals in totally 15 hospitals in Erzincan and Erzurum between November 2018 and January 2019 via e-mail and face-to-face interviews. Totally 105 questionnaires that were filled by hospital managers have been analyzed via SPSS 22 program. Findings: It is found that the managers mainly buy security services, cleaning services, cafeteria and catering from the others and they have mainly problems with supplier, which are basically about payment and tardiness. It is also concluded that many of the managers have been dissatisfied with suppliers and they have prioritized the reliability criteria in the selection of suppliers. Originality: Although there exist many studies about outsourcing in the literature, it is seen that there is a limited number of studies to guide managers especially on supplier relations and selection. In addition, studies evaluating the perceptions of health managers towards their suppliers in terms of outsourcing in the health sector are rare. Therefore, this study aims to provide solutions about the problems on the topic and fill the gap in the related literature.
