Bu çalýþmanýn amacý Milli Eðitim Bakanlýðýnýn öðretmen atamalarýnda izlediði yollar hakkýnda öðretmen adaylarýnýn görüþlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu araþtýrmadaki veriler, nitel araþtýrma tekniklerinden yarý yapýlandýrýlmýþ görüþme tekniði kullanýlarak 2006-2007 öðretim yýlý güz ve bahar döneminde toplanmýþtýr ve verilerin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi ve sürekli karþýlaþtýrma teknikleri kullanýlmýþtýr. Bu araþtýrmanýn çalýþma evrenini Abant Ýzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Eðitim Fakültesi dördüncü sýnýf öðrencileri (n=133) oluþturmuþtur. Araþtýrma sonuçlarýnýn bazýlarý þunlardýr: Katýlýmcýlar kendi pedegojik formasyonlarýnýn teoride iyi ama uygulamada yeterli olmadýðýný düþünmektedirler. Sözleþmeli öðretmen uygulamalarýna sýcak bakmamaktadýrlar. KPSS sýnavýnýn kaldýrýlmasýný istemektedirler. Bulgular ýþýðýnda bazý öneriler sunulmuþtur
The aim of this study is to examine preservice teachers’ perceptions on teacher appointment procedures followed by the Ministry of National Education (MONE). The working population of this study were the fourth year students (n=133) attending the Education Faculty of Abant Ýzzet Baysal University,. During the study the qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interview technique in the spring semester of 2006-2007 academic year, and for the analysis of the data, content- analysis and continous comparison techniques were used. Some of the findings of the study were as follows : The participants believed that their teacher training courses were sufficiant in theory but insufficiant in practice; they were against contract teacher applications and they wanted the Selection Examination for Professional Posts in Public Organizations to abolished. In the light of these findings, certain suggestions were recomended.
