It was used pre-test post-test experimental design with control group included in the quantitative research models. The study groups consist of 85 students. There were 29 students in the animation technique group, 30 students in the cooperative experiment group and 26 students in the curriculum-based learning group. It was used Academic Achievement Test, Science Course Attitude Scale, and School Attitude Scale as data collection instruments. It was used one-way ANOVA test for data analysis. At the end of the implementation, it was determined that the animation technique and cooperative experiment method were more effective than curriculum-based teaching in improving the academic achievement of students and increasing their attitude levels towards the science course. It was determined that the teaching methods used in developing students' attitudes towards school had a similar effect with each other. For this reason, to change positively the attitude towards academic achievement and science course in general, it is recommended to apply these methods on different subjects.
