Kırsal bölgelerde nüfusun azalmasıyla kapanan okullardaki öğrencilerin bir kısmı taşımalı eğitimle, bir kısmı birleştirilmiş sınıflarda, bir kısmı da yatılı okullarda eğitimlerini devam ettirmektedir. Yatılı bölge ortaokullarındaki öğrenciler, öğretmen ve arkadaşlarıyla yirmi dört saat vakit geçirmektedir. Öğrenciler; öğretmenlerine her an ulaşabilmekte, sorumluluk bilinci kazanmaktadır. Öğrencilere çeşitli eğitim imkânı sunan yatılı bölge ortaokullarında birçok sorunla karşılaşılmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, yatılı bölge ortaokullarında karşılaşılan sorunları derinlemesine incelemek ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerileri sunmaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2020-2021 eğitim ve öğretim yılında Samsun ili yatılı bölge ortaokullarında görev yapan 7 pansiyondan sorumlu müdür yardımcısı ve 3 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim deseniyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği ile veriler elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analizle incelenmiştir. Katılımcılardan elde edilen veriler sonucunda yatılı bölge ortaokullarında öğrenciler, personel eksikliği, veliler, nöbetler, fiziki şartlar ile ilgili sorunlar yaşandığı tespit edilmiş ve çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.
Some of the students in schools closed by the decline of the population in rural areas continue their education with portable education, some in joint classes, and some in settlement schools. Students in the Yatılı district’s high school spend twenty-four hours with their teachers and friends. Students are able to reach their teachers at any time and gain responsibility consciousness. Students are faced with a lot of problems in high school areas that offer different educational opportunities. The aim of this research is to thoroughly explore the problems faced in the middle schools in the settlement area and to present solutions to these problems.
