Boşanma oranlarındaki artış ve yeniden evliliğe bakış açısındaki değişimin sonuçlarından biri olan tekrar evlenmelerle birlikte yeni aileler kurulmakta ve üvey ebeveynli aile yapıları oluşmaktadır. Günümüzde giderek daha fazla sayıda genç, çocukluk hayatları süresi içinde üvey aile yaşam düzenlemeleri içinde yer almakta aileye ve ait olma hissine ilişkin deneyimlerini bu aile yapısı içinde yaşamaktadır. Bu çalışmada üvey aileye sahip gençlerin aileye ve aile aidiyetine ilişkin düşünce ve deneyimlerinin ortaya çıkarılmasına çalışılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yönteminde tasarlanan bu çalışmada yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak 10 gençle derinlemesine görüşmeler yapıldı. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgularda gençler tarafından ailenin anlamının sevgi ve birliktelik kavramlarıyla ifade edildiği genel aile tanımlamasında biyolojik anne, baba ve çocuklardan oluşan çekirdek aile yapısının tanımlanmasına karşın kendi ailelerine ilişkin tanımlamalarda, ebeveyn/lerin yeniden evlenme sürecinin, üvey ebeveynle ve velayeti almayan ebeveynle ilişkilerin belirleyici olduğu görüldü. Annelerin yeniden evliliğinde toplumsal baskılardan kurtulma, yaşamın kolaylaşması ve yalnızlıktan kurtulma düşüncelerinin, babaların yeniden evliliğinde evdeki düzenin devam ettirilmesi, yaşamın kolaylaşmasına yönelik düşüncelerin evliliğin onaylanmasında etkili olduğu saptandı. Üvey aile yaşamında üvey ebeveyn ile kurulan olumsuz ilişkinin ve ailede üvey kardeş varlığının aileyi kabullenme konusunda gençleri olumsuz etkilediği belirlendi. Üvey ebeveynle ilişkilerin gençlerde aile aidiyetinin belirleyicisi olduğu ve aile üyeleriyle birlikte düzenli yapılan aktiviteler, bayram, mezuniyet gibi önemli günlerde beraber olmanın katılımcıların aile aidiyeti hissetmeleri konusunda önemli olduğu belirlendi. Çalışma sonucunda üvey aile üyeleri arasındaki iletişimi arttırıcı programların düzenlenmesi, yeniden evlenme sürecinde profesyoneller tarafından sunulacak aile danışmanlığına ilişkin hizmetlerin geliştirilmesi önerilmektedir.
The rise in divorce rates and a result of a change in the perspective of re-marriage, with re-marriage, new families are established and family structures are formed. Today, more and more young people, during their childhood lifetime, experience their experience of family and belonging to the family in their family life arrangements. This study has been aimed at revealing the thoughts and experiences of young people with family membership and family membership. In this study, which was designed in the quality research method, a half-built interview form was used for deep conversations with 10 young people. The findings obtained in the study found that despite the definition of the core family structure consisting of biological mothers, fathers and children in the general family definition in which youth expressed the meaning of the family with the concepts of love and association, the definitions of their own families found that the process of re-marriage of parents, the relationship with the parent and the non-guarded parents was determinant. The thoughts of the mothers to get rid of social pressures in the re-marriage, to make life easier and to get rid of loneliness, to keep the order in the home in the re-marriage of the fathers, to make life easier, have been found to be effective in the approval of marriage. The negative relationship established with the parent in the family life and the presence of the brother in the family has been determined to have a negative impact on the youth in acceptance of the family. Relationships with parents are the determinant of family membership in young people and it is determined that it is important for participants to feel family membership in important days, such as holidays, graduation, and regular activities with family members. As a result of the study, it is recommended that the organization of communication enhancing programs between the family members, the development of services related to family counseling that will be offered by professionals in the process of re-marriage.
