Amaç: Endüstri mirası alanlarının dönüşüm sürecinde çağımızın yükselen sektörü olan yaratıcı endüstrilerin rolünü ve önemini açıklamak, konuyu örnek bir çalışma alanı üzerinden tartışmaya açmaktır. Yöntem: Bu çalışmada öncelikle endüstriyel mirasın korunumu ve yeniden kullanımı aşamasında yaratıcı endüstrilerin rolü teorik olarak açıklanmakta ve çeşitli örneklerle somutlaştırılmaktadır. Akabinde örnek alan olarak tespit edilen Antalya Dokuma Fabrikası ve yakın çevresinin mevcut durumu, gelişme süreci, önerilen strateji ve önerilen proje yaklaşımının temel kararları paylaşılarak tartışmaya açılmaktadır. Bulgular: Yaratıcı şehir stratejileri sanayisizleşme sürecine girmiş eski endüstriyel şehirlerin imajlarının yenilenmesi, ticari ve ekonomik faaliyetler için şehirlerin çekiciliğinin arttırılması, kültür, sanat ve yaratıcılıktan beslenen aktif bir kültür odağı olarak gelişmesinin teşvik edilmesi, kültürel kurumlara ve projelere verilen desteklerin artması, eski sanayi bölgelerindeki yapıların özgünlüğünü kaybetmeden kentsel çevreye yeniden kazandırılması gibi kent mekanına önemli faydalar sağlamaktadır. Bu nedenle erişilebilirlik bakımından konum değeri yüksek, çevredeki birçok kamusal alan için bağlayıcı nitelikte olan ve Antalya kent belleğinde önemli bir yer edinmiş Dokuma fabrikası alanının kültür endüstrilerinin geliştirilebileceği önemli bir kültür odağı olma potansiyeli taşıdığı görülmektedir. Sonuç: Dokuma fabrikası alanı için yerel toplulukların ve sanat gruplarının ihtiyaçlarına cevap veren kültürel bir alan, herkesin toplanma hakkının olduğu tarafsız bölge, önemli toplantı ve toplanma alanları, tarih ve gelişim anlayışı ve/veya hissi, kamusal niteliğe sahip kentsel bir geliştirilmesi önerilmiştir.
Aim: The aim of this study is to explain the role and importance of creative industries in the transformation process of industrial heritage areas and to discuss the subject with a sample project area. Method: Firstly, the role of creative industries in the preservation and reuse of industrial heritage is explained theoretically and embodied in a variety of examples. Then, the current situation of the selected case study area that is Antalya weaving factory and its immediate surroundings, the development process, the proposal strategy and the project approach are shared and discussed. Results: Creative city strategies provide significant benefits to urban space, such as the restoration of the image of old industrial cities that have entered the process of industrialization, increasing the attractiveness of cities for commercial and economic activities, promoting the development of culture, art and creativity as an active cultural center, increasing support for cultural institutions and projects, restoration of buildings in the old industrial zones without losing their originality. For this reason, it is thought that the weaving factory area which has a high level of accessibility, capable of connecting to many public spaces around and an important place in the collective memory of Antalya has the potential to be an important cultural center where cultural industries can be developed. Conclusion: It is recommended; a region where cultural industries can be clustered, a cultural field that addresses the needs of art groups, a convention area for the business and science world, a region where students will adapt to professional life a recreation area for all people with the developed approach.
