Okul Öncesi Dönem Çocuğu Olan Babaların Çocuklarıyla Olan İlişkileri ile Babalık Rolü Algıları Arasındaki İlişkinin Bazı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Erken yaşlarda kurulan olumlu baba çocuk ilişkisi çocuğun gelişiminde önemli bir yapı taşıdır. Babaların babalık rolü algısı ise kendi algılarından büyük oranda etkilenmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı okul öncesi dönem çocuğu bulunan babaların çocuklarıyla olan ilişkileri ile babalık rolü algıları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi olmuştur. Ayrıca babaların yaşı, öğrenim düzeyi, çocuklarının cinsiyeti, doğum sırası ve çocuklarıyla geçirdikleri zaman değişkenleri açısından, babalık rolü algılarının ve baba çocuk ilişkilerinin farklılık meydana getirip getirmediği incelenmiştir. İlişkisel tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilen çalışma, Çankırı il merkezinde çocukları okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarına devam eden 321 baba ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Çocuk Ebeveyn İlişki Ölçeği (Baba Formu)” ve “Babalık Rolü Algı Ölçeği (BRAÖ)” ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde t-testi, varyans analizi ve Pearson Korelasyon analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda babaların babalık rolü algısı ile olumlu baba çocuk ilişkisi arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Bununla birlikte babaların yaşı, öğrenim düzeyi, çocuklarının doğum sırası ve çocuklarıyla geçirdikleri zaman değişkenleri bakımından babaların puan ortalamalarında anlamlı farklılaşmalara rastlanırken çocuklarının cinsiyet değişkeni açısından babaların puan ortalamalarında farklılaşma görülmemiştir.

The positive father relationship established in the early age is an important buildingstone in the development of the child. The perception of the father's role is greatly influenced by their own perceptions. The main objective of this study was to study the relationship between the relationships of the parents with the children of the pre-school child and the perceptions of the father's role. It is also studied that, in terms of the age of the fathers, the level of education, the gender of their children, the order of birth and the time they spend with their children, the perceptions of the role of the father and the relationship of the father and the child make a difference. The work in the relational scan model was carried out with 321 fathers who continued their children to pre-school educational institutions in the centre of the province of Chankırı. The data of the study was obtained with the "Personal Information Form", "Child Parental Relationship Scale" and "Parental Role Perception Scale" (BRAÖ). In the analysis of the data, t-test, variance analysis and Pearson Correlation analysis were used. The study found that there was a meaningful relationship between the perception of the father’s role and the positive father’s relationship with the child. However, the age of the fathers, the level of education, the order of birth of their children, and the time they spend with their children, the variables in the average score of the fathers are significantly differentiated; the average score of the fathers in the gender variable of their children is not significantly differentiated.

Positive father-child relationship established at an early age is an important building block in the development of the child. Perception of fatherhood role of fathers is greatly influenced by their own perceptions. The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between relationships of fathers with their pre-school children and perceptions of fatherhood role. It also examines whether fatherhood role perceptions and father-child relationships lead to differences in terms of father's age, education status, gender of child, order of birth and time spent with children. The study of relational survey model, was conducted with 321 fathers in Cankiri province center whose children continues to pre-school educational institutions. The data of the study were obtained by "Personal Information Form", "Child Parent Relationship Scale (Father Form)" and "Perception Measurement for Father’s Role (PMFR)". T-test, variance analysis and Pearson Correlation analysis were used in analyzing the data. As a result of the research, it was revealed that there is a significant relationship between the perception of fatherhood role of father and positive father-child relationship. In addition, while there are significant differences in fathers' average scores in terms of father's age, education status, children's birth order, and time spent with their children, there is no change in the average scores of the fathers in terms of their children's gender change.
