Abstract:

Thro history, people have migrated from where they live for political, economic, religious or individual reasons. It is said that the history of humanity is the history of immigration. As a result of immigration, radical changes occur in the lives of individuals. After the workforce agreement signed between Turkey and Germany in 1961, the Turkish workers who went to work in Germany also faced many problems here. This is the result of migration and related issues being treated as a topic in literary works by immigrant writers. The works of the writers who have described immigration in their works and who do not have the immigration process or who are not personally affected by the consequences of the immigration can only be evaluated within the Immigration Literature. The writers who migrated to Germany for various reasons; Bekir Star (1933-1998), Dursun Akçam (1930-2003), Fakir Baykurt (1929-1999), Fethi Warrior (1930-1989) have talked about many issues related to immigration and immigration to Germany. Fakir Baykurt, a socially realistic writer, also talked about the reality of the village while in Turkey, the life of the village; after going to Germany, the problems that the Turks in Germany are experiencing. In this study we also studied how the Turkish children addressed the educational problems in the stories of Fakir Baykurt about Germany, how the consequences of the migration process from Turkey to Germany were related to education. In this context, we have studied his twenty-two stories about education in his works: Night Wardy (1982), Duisburg Train (1986), Peace Corner (1986) and Our Thin Girls (1993) and the same.
