Abstract:

The recent popular culture concept has also influenced the flow of architecture. Postmodernism is one of the points where popular culture is founded. Especially in his relationship with architecture. But the popular culture and the consumption culture that develops with it have also changed the values of postmodernism. Concepts such as locality, historicity have been used by the consumer culture, and have been incorporated into the kitsch phenomenon. This has also been directly influenced by the architectural formation of tourism. This study was done taking into account the fact that the housing structures in our country are radically affected by this unrest and there is chaos in the housing architecture. In addition to these simulation structures, it is possible to see modern accommodation structures made with the use of modern materials and technology that reflect today. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the postmodern approach created by citations from historical and local architecture in the last-term housing structures by the survey method and to determine the parameters that lead to identity and significance in the context of the housing structures designed in the modern approach that reflects the present day, through the parameters determined in the work framework. The front of 10 modern and 10 postmodern approaches designed 20 accommodation structures in this framework; the determined 9 parameters have been evaluated by 30 specialized architects with a five-point meaning distinction scale. Analysis of survey data (SPSS) is done with the 23 For Windows statistics software package. In the research aimed at solving the identity problem in the housing structures, the knowledge of the architectural perspective is believed to be a source for future designs.
