Günümüzde özellikle dijital alandaki teknolojik gelişmeler gündelik yaşamı yeniden üreten en önemli sosyolojik dinamiklerden biridir. Bu bağlamda “blok zincir teknolojisi” toplumsal yaşamı (dünyayı) dönüştürme potansiyeli bakımından internetle ve hatta buharlı makinalarla bile kıyaslanmaktadır. Sosyolojik değişimlerin en önemli toplumsal katmanı ise gençlerdir. Bu çalışma, Bourdieu’nün alan, sermaye, habitus kuramsal üçlemesini kullanarak, blok zincir tabanlı bir teknoloji olan kripto paranın toplumu yeniden üretme potansiyeline odaklanmaktadır. Çalışma aynı zamanda fenomenolojik ve durum çalışması desenli nitel bir çalışmadır. Çalışmada bir durum ve bir fenomen olarak deneyimlenen kripto paranın gençler üzerinde yarattığı değişim betimlenmek, keşfedilmek ve anlaşılmak istenmiştir. Seçilen desene uygun bir şekilde ölçüt ve kartopu örneklemi belirlenmiştir. Kartopu örneklemi yöntemiyle ölçütleri taşıyan 15 katılımcıya ulaşılmıştır. Yapılandırılmış görüşme kılavuzuna sadık kalınarak katılımcılardan derinlemesine görüşme ve gözlem verileri toplanılmıştır. Katılımcılarla yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler MAXQDA analiz programı yardımı ile deşifre edilerek, görüşme kılavuzundaki sorular kod matrisi olarak kullanılmıştır. Bulgular içerik ve süreç analizi yöntemiyle yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda ise katılımcı gençler için: i) Kripto para piyasasına giriş nasıl oluyor? ii) Piyasa sosyal medyanın yerini alabilir mi? iii) Piyasa dijital oyunlarının yerini alabilir mi? iv) Piyasada kazanmak dijital takdirin/beğenilmenin yerini alabilir mi? v) Piyasanın gençler arasında geleceği nasıl? sorularının yanıtlarına ulaşılmıştır.
Today, especially in the digital field, technological developments are one of the most important sociological dynamics that re-create daily life. In this context, "block chain technology" is compared with the internet and even steam machines in terms of the potential to transform social life (the world). The most important social layer of social change is the youth. This study focuses on Bourdieu’s potential to re-create the society of cryptocurrency, a blockchain-based technology, using the field, capital, habitus theoretical triangle. Study is also a phenomenological and state study pattern of quality study. The study was aimed at describing, discovering and understanding the change that crypto money created on young people, experienced as a situation and a phenomenon. The selection of patterns and patterns is properly determined. 15 participants were reached with the sample method of the cartouche. By keeping faithful to the structured interview guide, the participants were gathered in-depth interviews and observation data. The data obtained from interviews with participants was decrypted with the help of the MAXQDA analysis program, and the questions in the interview guide were used as a code matrix. The findings are interpreted by the method of content and process analysis. At the end of the study, for the participating young people: i) How is the entry into the cryptocurrency market? Can the market replace social media? Can the market replace digital games? Can winning in the market take the place of digital appreciation/like? What is the future of the market among the youth? The answers to their questions have been reached.
Today, technological developments, in the digital field in particular, compromise one of the most important sociological dynamics that reproduce daily life. Concordantly, “blockchain technology” is compared to the internet and even steam engine in terms of its potential to transform social life (the earth). The most significant social layer of sociological changes is the youth. Based on Bourdieu's theoretical trilogy of field, capital, habitus, this study focuses on the potential of crypto money, a blockchain-based technology, to reproduce society. The study is qualitative following a phenomenological and case study design. In the study, it is desired to describe, explore, and understand the change on the youth caused by crypto currency, which is experienced both as a case and a phenomenon. Criterion and snowball sampling were determined in accordance with the selected design. In the snowball sampling method, 15 participants who met the criteria were included. In-depth interview and observation data were collected from the participants by adhering to the structured interview guide. The interviews were deciphered with the help of the MAXQDA analysis program and the questions in the interview guide were used as the code matrix. The findings were interpreted by content and process analysis method. At the end of the study, the questions; i) How can one enter into market? ii) Can the market replace social media? iii) Can the market replace digital games? iv) Can winning in the market replace digital like/appreciation? v) What kind of future awaits the market among the youth? have been answered for the participating youth.
