Abstract:

A survey to obtain the demographic information of the teachers candidates (the maternity branch, classes, the monthly income and gender of the families) and to determine the levels of financial literature was used by a scale of 14 matters (Sarıgül, 2015). Imaginary statistics, t-test analysis for one-way ANOVA and non-related samples have determined whether the financial level of literacy of the teacher candidates varies according to their demographic characteristics. Significant relationships between the financial literacy levels of the teacher candidates and some demographic characteristics have been observed. The financial level of literature and the meaningful relationship between the study department and the continued class is observed; the conclusion is that there is no meaningful relationship between the family’s monthly income and gender.

It was performed a survey to obtain preservice teachers’ demographic information (gender, department, monthly income of family) and a scale (Sarıgül, 2015) with 14 items to determine financial literacy level. As a result of descriptive statistics, one way ANOVA, independent samples t-test, it was determined if there was a difference between preservice teachers’ demographic information and financial literacy level or not.
