Theories of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) have been used as a key for establishing a better foreignlanguage teaching since many years. Yet, most of the studies in this area have been done by the researcherswho are interested and specialized in English Language Teaching (ELT). However, SLA is not a study areathat can be limited to only ELT, but it also concerns other foreign languages as well. In this study, we firstlook through what Second Language Acquisition is and how it differs from Foreign Language Learning(FLL). It is clear that the need for usable linguistic input is necessary for individuals’ learning to be able toproduce accurate linguistic output. These types of linguistic input, which are considered as positiveevidence, are not limited to only grammatical and acceptable linguistic data, but also include words that fitin any context or that can be used correctly in that context. On the other hand, it is possible to mentionabout feedback, which can be defined as the information provided by an agent regarding aspects of one'sperformance or understanding (see Hattie & Timperly, 2007). Feedback can help the learners to improve thequality of their linguistic output. It might be thought that this feedback is generally limited to the approvalor encouragement of an educator, teacher or other persons. However, it is also possible to consider writtenmaterial as a kind of source as well, that could trigger the positive feedback occurrence for the learners offoreign languages, as far as the learners could use these linguistic data, i.e. Positive Evidence, to be able toimprove their linguistic output. After identifying Positive Evidence and Feedback as seen above, PositiveEvidence in Bilingual Japanese Dictionaries are determined and indicated by the help of figures. Then, following to this determination, the circumstance under which Positive Feedback takes place when using adictionary is explained. Owing to these findings, the study has also showed and proven that it is possible toinclude the dictionaries in the range of the research of Second Language Acquisition
