The main aim of this research is to identify the level of burnout of Ministry of Turkish Customs and Trade staffwho work in the border gates and to analyze its the relation to organizational commitment and intent to leave This research aims also to find out the difference between the workers who work in the eastern and western border gates regarding burnout level, commitment to organization and intent to leave. The data was gathered with a questionnaire and analysis was conducted on the data gathered from a sample of 190 employees. The findings of the research show that the burnout positively affects intend to leave, negatively affects organizational commitment, there is not a moderating effect on the relationship between burnout and intend to leave, organizational commitment has partial mediating effect on the effect of burnout on intend to leave, the customs employees in east feel more burnout than the custom in west, and there are no difference in organizational commitment and intent to leave between employees in west and east
