This study investigates the reliability and validity of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Attitude Scale. The research sample consists of 273 middle school students dependent on the Nigde Province Directorate of National Education. The scale consists of 14 Likert Type items with 5 point response format. Construct validity is examined in the validity study of this scale. For the reliability of the scale, Cronbach alpha and item-total correlation methods were used. Finally, it can be concluded that the GIS Attitude Scale is a valid and reliable instrument to determine middle school students’ attitudes
