So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Main purpose of this study is to determine the level of secondary and high school teachers' conformity with classroom management principles. In this study, descriptive statistical method was used. The working group was consisted of 586 students chosen randomly from the 6th, 7th and 8th grade at 3 secondary schools and 9th, 10th, and 11th,12th grade at 3 high schools in Maltepe Township in istanbul. The data were analyzed with percentage, frequency, arithmetic means and t-test. According to students' views,teachers comply with classroom management principles at “moderate” level. Although they are expected to conform with classroom management principles fully, it was found out that they conformed to them at moderate level. While there was significant difference in “school” variable, no difference was found in “gender” variable. It is recommended that teachers should be made more proficient in applying classroom management principles by means of in-service training and pre-service education.
