Abstract:

This documanter and analytic article contains the Qur’anic passages written on four holy mosques, ie. Mesjid-i Harâm, Mesjid-i Nabawî, the Mosque of Kuba and the Mosque of Qıblatain. This article aims to study of verses which chosen in these mosques. This study reflects the Muslims’ especially Turks’ mentality of writing/adaptation Qur’anic verses in the architecture within the framework of these four mosques.
