The purpose of this research is to evaluate the higher education students who graduated between 2015-2019 according to the gender and fields of education and training. The data are obtained from the Higher Education Information Management System “Number of Graduates by Classification of Fields of Education and Training on the Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate Degree Programmes Tables”. The data are evaluated by the number of graduates, fields of education and training, gender, graduation year and education levels. The population of the research is 4,146,072 higher education graduates which 2,128,543 are women and 2,017,529 are men. The field with the highest number of graduates was “Business, Management and Law” with 1,363,475 graduates. In 2015, 35.9% of the graduates graduated from associate degree, 57.4% at undergraduate level, 5.9% at master’s level and 0.7% at doctorate level. In 2019, these rates were 34.0%, 54.7%, 10.3% and 1.0% respectively. The rate of female graduates at all education levels reached 53.2% in 2019 from %49.14 in 2015. It is considered that this rate will continue to increase in the coming years and this situation may bring about important changes in social, business, academic and family life in Turkey in the future
