Bu araştırmanın amacı Çanakkale ilinin Biga ilçesindeki firmalarda çalışmakta olan pazarlama elemanlarının çalıştıkları firmalardaki paternalist liderlik algıları ve örgütsel sessizlik davranışları arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Çanakkale ilinin Biga ilçesinde bulunan 6 şirketin 291 pazarlama elemanı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise bu 6 şirkette çalışmakta olan 109 pazarlama elemanı oluşturmaktadır. Veriler anket uygulaması aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Anketten elde edilen verilerle, frekans analizi, normallik testi, güvenilirlik analizi, korelasyon analizi ve regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan korelasyon analizi sonuçlarına göre paternalist liderliğin bir alt boyutu olan yardımsever liderlik ile örgütsel sessizlik arasında negatif yönlü ve anlamlı, ahlaki liderlik ile örgütsel sessizlik arasında negatif yönlü ve anlamlı, otoriter liderlik ile örgütsel sessizlik arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Regresyon analizinin neticesine göre paternalist liderliğin örgütsel sessizliği etkilediği görülmektedir. Paternalist liderliğin bir alt boyutu olan yardımsever liderliğin ve otoriter liderliğin örgütsel sessizliği etkilediği görülmüş, ancak ahlaki liderliğin örgütsel sessizlik üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı belirlenmiştir.
The purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between paternalist leadership perceptions and organizational silence behaviors in the companies in the Biga district of Çanakkale. The universe of the research is composed of 291 marketing members of 6 companies located in the Biga district of Çanakkale. The study is based on 109 marketers working in these 6 companies. The data is obtained through the application. The data obtained from the survey included frequency analysis, normality test, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. According to the correlation analysis, there has been a negative and meaningful relationship between a sub-dimensional paternalist leadership and organizational silence, between moral leadership and organizational silence, negative and meaningful, between authority leadership and organizational silence. Regression analysis shows that paternalist leadership affects the organizational silence. It has been seen that a sub-dimensional paternal leadership has influenced the organizational silence of helpful leadership and authorized leadership, but it has been established that moral leadership has no meaningful impact on organizational silence.
The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between paternalistic leadership perceptions and organizational silence behaviors in the companies where marketing staff working in the Biga district of Çanakkale province work. 291 marketing employees of 6 companies located in Biga district of Çanakkale province constitute the universe of the research. The sample of the research consists of 109 marketing employees working in these 6 companies. The data was obtained through the survey application. Frequency analysis, normality test, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed with the data obtained from the survey. Correlation analysis was performed according to the results, benevolent paternalistic leadership and organizational leadership that is the size of a subset of silence between the negative-way, and meaningful, moral leadership, organizational silence between negative a-way, and meaningful authoritarian leadership and organizational silence between positive way, and it has been seen that there is a meaningful relationship. According to regression analysis, paternalistic leadership appears to influence organizational silence. Benevolent leadership and authoritarian leadership, a sub-dimension of paternalistic leadership, have been found to influence organizational silence, but it has been found that moral leadership has no meaningful effect on organizational silence.
