Millî Mücadele sırasında kamuoyu yaratma ve halkı yönlendirmede basın önemli rol oynamıştır. Ulusal ve uluslararası kamuoyu desteğinin sağlanması, halka doğru bilgi ulaştırılabilmesinde Millî Mücadele yanlısı İstanbul ve Anadolu basını son derece hayati görevler üstlenmiştir. Mustafa Kemal Paşa İstanbul ve Anadolu’nun çeşitli vilayetlerinde çıkartılan Millî Mücadele yanlısı gazeteleri ilgi ile takip etmiş, bu gazeteleri yürüttüğü mücadeleyi kamuoyuna duyurmada bir araç olarak görmüştür. Millî Mücadele döneminde Türkoğlu adıyla Bolu’da bir gazete yayımlanmıştır. Bolu Vilayet matbaasında basılan gazete iki yıl süren yayın hayatı boyunca Kuvayı Milliyeyi destekleyen yayınları ile kamuoyunu aydınlatıp bilinçlendirmiştir. Türkoğlu gazetesi, 15 Ağustos 1921’den 26 Ağustos 1923 yılına kadar yayın hayatını sürdürmüştür. İki yıl boyunca 104 sayı çıkartılan gazete Millî Mücadele’nin başarıya ulaşmasından sonra kapanmıştır. Gazetenin imtiyaz sahibi eski ittihatçılardan kaymakamlık görevlerinde bulunmuş olan Mithat Akif Bey’dir. Haftalık olarak çıkartılan gazetenin sorumlu yazı işleri müdürü Mehmet Abdi Bey’dir. Kuvâ-yı Milliye lehine bir yayın politikası izlenmiş, Millî Mücadele ile ilgili haberlere, makalelere, şiirlere sıklıkla yer verilmiş, yerel, ulusal ve uluslararası siyasi gelişmeler ele alınmıştır. Bu araştırmada Türkoğlu gazetesinin Kuvâ-yı Milliye hareketine sağladığı katkı değerlendirilmiştir. Ankara Üniversitesi Türk İnkılap Tarihi Enstitüsü kütüphanesindeki tam koleksiyon üzerinde yapılan çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerle Anadolu Basınının Millî Mücadele’nin zafere ulaşmasındaki etkisi Türkoğlu gazetesi örneği üzerinden irdelenmiştir.
During the national struggle, the press played an important role in creating the public and directing the people. To provide national and international public support, the national struggle supporting Istanbul and Anadolu press have taken the very vital tasks in the way that information can be communicated to the public. Mustafa Kemal Pasha has followed with interest the National Struggle newspaper published in various provinces of Istanbul and Anadolu, and has seen these newspapers as a tool in announcing the struggle to the public. During the National Struggle period, a newspaper named Turkoglu was published in Bolu. The newspaper printed in Bolu Provincial matba has illuminated and awarenessed the public with its publications supporting the Kuvayı Millioni throughout its two-year broadcast life. The Turkoglu newspaper continued its publication life from 15 August 1921 to 26 August 1923. The newspapers, which were released 104 numbers over the course of two years, were closed after the success of the National Struggle. The owner of the newspaper is Mr. Mithat Akif, who has been trapped in the skiing duties from former activists. The responsibility for the paperwork of the weekly newspaper is Mr. Mehmet Abdi. A publication policy was followed in favour of the Millennium, news, articles, poems about the National Struggle were frequently posted, local, national and international political developments were addressed. In this study, Turkoğlu has assessed the contribution that the Turkish newspaper has provided to the Qua-yi Millions movement. The study on the full collection in the Turkish Inklip History Institute Library of the University of Ankara has been used by the quality research method. With the data obtained, the influence of the Anadolu Press on the victory of the National Struggle has been reflected through the example of the Turkoglu newspaper.
During the War of Independence the press played a great role in diverting and creating a public opinion. The pro-War of Independence press in Istanbul and Anatolia played a crucial part in gaining the support of national and international actors. Mustafa Kemal Pasha followed the pro-War of Independence press in Istanbul and in various cities of Anatolia very closely and saw it as a means to inform the public of the struggle taking place. During the War of Independence, a newspaper named Türkoğlu in the province of Bolu was published. Whilst the period of the newspaper’s publication at the Bolu printing house only lasted two years, it nonetheless was very instrumental in informing and enlightening the public with its pro-War of Independence publications. The Türkoğlu Newspaper was regularly published between August 15, 1921 and August 26, 1923. 104 issues were published during its two year operation. The newspaper closed after the success of the National Struggle. Mithat Akif Bey, the publisher of the newspaper, had been a former unionist, and also served as district governor. The editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper was Mehmet Abdi Bey. The newspaper undertook a pro-National Force publishing policy and news items, articles, and poems related to the War of Independence were frequently included and local, national and international political developments were discussed. This research will take a look at the Türkoğlu newspaper and examine how the input of the newspaper’s publication policy and its writers supported the National Forces. Qualitative research method was used on the full collection of Ankara University’s Turkish Revolution History Institute Library. The effects of the Anatolian Press on the victory of the National Forces were analysed through the data obtained from the Türkoğlu newspaper.
