Araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de finansal okuryazarlık konusunda gerçekleştirilen lisansüstü tez çalışmalarına ilgi gösteren disiplinlerin, araştırmalarda kullanılan yöntemlerin, finansal okuryazarlık ile ilişkisi incelenen değişkenlerin ve tezlerde ortaya konulan neden-sonuç ilişkilerinin neler olduğunun, finansal okuryazarlık ile ilgili belirlenen sorunlara ne tür çözüm önerilerinin geliştirildiğinin belirlenmesidir. Bu kapsamda 63 tez içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Türkiye’de 32 ilde, 40 ayrı üniversitede ilgili konuda lisansüstü tez çalışması yapıldığı, en çok tez yazılan üniversitenin Sakarya Üniversitesi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Finansal okuryazarlık konusundaki lisansüstü tez çalışmalarının %31.74 kısmının üniversite öğrencilerine yönelik gerçekleştirildiği, tezlerin tamamı dikkate alındığında araştırmaların toplam 30663 birimlik örneklem büyüklüğünü kapsadığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmalarda ilişkisi en çok araştırılan bağımlı değişkenlerin; finansal bilgi düzeyi, finansal davranış, finansal tutum olduğu; bağımsız değişken olarak ise daha çok demografik verilerin kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Belirlenen sorunlara yönelik tezlerde geliştirilen çözüm önerileri kapsamında en fazla irdelenen kavramların; eğitim, strateji, farkındalık, proje ve işbirliği olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The purpose of the research is to determine the disciplines that are interested in the graduate thesis studies carried out in financial literature in Turkey, the methods used in research, the variables that are studied the relationship with financial literature and the causal-resultate relations found in the thesis, what kind of solutions proposals are developed to the problems identified in financial literature. In this context, 63 theses were studied by the content analysis method. In Turkey, 32 provinces, 40 different universities have undertaken a postgraduate thesis study on the subject, the most thesis written university has been determined to be Sakarya University. 31% of the study in the field of financial literature. The 74 part was conducted to university students, with all the theses taken into account, the research was found to cover the total sample size of 30663 units. The research has found that the most researched dependent variables are the level of financial knowledge, financial behavior, financial attitude, and the most used demographic data as an independent variable. In the framework of the solutions proposals developed in the theses on specific problems, the most concerned concepts are: education, strategy, awareness, project and cooperation.
The aim of the study is to determine the interested disciplines, used methods, the cause-effect relationships, and the solution proposals developed for the identified problems in the graduate thesis written in the field of financial literacy in Turkey. In this context, 63 theses were examined by the content analysis method. It was determined that at least one graduate thesis was written about financial literacy in 40 different universities in 32 different provinces. Sakarya University is the one with the highest number of undergraduate thesis written on this subject. It was found that 31.74% of the graduate thesis studies on financial literacy were carried out for university students, and the researches covered a total sample size of 30663 units. The most used dependent variables in the researches were financial knowledge level, financial behavior and financial attitude, and the demographic data as an independent variable. It was determined that the most discussed solution proposals developed for the identified problems in the theses were education, strategy, awareness, project, and cooperation
