The main purpose of this study is to measure the effect of the concept of leader-member exchange on the job satisfaction levels and turnover intentions of hotel employees. A second aim is to investigate the mediating role of job satisfaction in the impact of leader-member exchange on turnover intention. The model developed for this purpose has been tested empirically. In order to obtain the data used in the research, 295 people working in 4- and 5-star hotels in Konya, Türkiye were reached. The data were collected by questionnaire technique. The hypotheses of the research were examined by Multiple Linear Regression and Hierarchical Regression analysis. The power of the study was determined as 93% with a Type 1 error of 5% and an effect size of d=0,3. As a result of the study, it has been determined that qualified leader-member exchange affects intention to leave negatively and job satisfaction positively. On the other hand, it was concluded that job satisfaction has a full mediating role in the impact of leader-member exchange on turnover intention. In the light of the current results, it is seen that the leader-member exchange has an effect on two important factors for organizations such as turnover intention and job satisfaction.
