Feminist activities have also been affected by the innovations of the digital media, as well as all areas of society. With the feminist movements becoming digitally spoken, people share their views on women's rights and problems. Although women's movements are associated with Western feminism on a global scale, a different understanding and approach has been created in every society. In this context, the definition of the phenomenon of women's movements and the drawn boundaries are important. In every society, women's movements are formed in line with different goals and objectives. The Iranian women's movement has determined its own language and methods of struggle within the context of religious and political conditions. In this study, the Iranian women's movements that took place in the period from 1906 to the present, the political atmosphere and the phenomenon of women within the scope of universal feminism were examined and its social parameters were discussed. By giving examples of Iranian women's movements, the rights of women gained as a result of the protests are mentioned. In this study, which is considered as a literature review, examples of hashtags created for feminism and women's movements in the social media are included, as well as Iranian women's movements. The contents of these hashtags and the example posts about them are also mentioned. In the study, the comments made about the hashtags used in different years related to women's movements in "Twitter", which is one of the frequently used social media platforms, were discussed and a content analysis was made about them. Content analysis method, document, video, audio, visual etc. It is used to explore the world of symbols, thoughts, meanings and ideas found in texts. The themes in the discussed content are discovered and coded according to their categories. Codings can be handled conceptually or within sub-themes. Content analysis is an analysis method used to discover the meanings in the text.While analyzing, the content of the shared tweets and the hashtags used were determined as the review criteria. Some examples of tweets with hashtags examined in the Findings section are presented. The study was compiled in December of 2021 and February of 2022. The aim of this study is to explain the concept of digital activism and to examine the perspective on women's movements in Iran. A conclusion was reached on how women's movements in Iran affected Iran. Although Iran's women's movements have remained in the background globally, it has been concluded that it can be a force that can create changes in social life with the political debates in the country.
