Unions are among the most important organizations that protect and improve the common interests of employees in the business world. The use of information technologies in production processes is expressed as the fourth industrial revolution, namely Industry 4.0. This system, which does not include people in production, will reduce employment and create new working models and professions in the near future. In this study, Industry 4.0 revolution, which will greatly affect the economic and social life of the unions in Turkey, will be evaluated. Within the scope of the research, firstly, the concepts of membership and Industry 4.0 in unions have been explained and an answer has been tried to be searched for the question of whether unions are ready for this new technology age, whether they will get stronger in the future or weaken. It has been understood that TÜRK-İŞ, HAK-İŞ and DİSK have been following closely the latest decisions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) regarding Industry 4.0. It is concluded that unions can be strengthened with strategies that can adapt to the Industry 4.0 era.
