The aim of this study is to reveal the relationship between the exchange rate (USD), the interest rate (state bond interest rate) and the Exchange Istanbul Transport (XULAS) index and the Exchange Istanbul 100 (BIST 100) index. It is also asked to test the consistency between the results of the study and the studies done in the past. Most importantly, there is no work done with the transportation index, and contributing to the space is one of the other objectives of this work. Method - Although the period range was desired to be kept as wide as possible in the study, the daily data of the variables between 04.07.2006 and 31.12.2019 were used due to the shortness of access to data. The study analyzed the relationships between the variables using the Hatemi J (2012) causality tests where the symmetrical causality relationship was studied, the Toda-Yomamato (1995) causality test and the asymmetrical causality relationship were studied. Results - According to the causality test of Toda-Yamamato (1995) it has been found that there are one-way causality relationships from the dollar to the Stock Exchange Istanbul100 and the Transport Index. According to the results of the asymmetrical causality analysis, all positive and negative shocks in the dollar rate at different significance levels (1% and 10% majority of 1%) were identified as a double-directional causality towards the same positive and negative shocks in the BIST100 index. But according to Hatemi-J asymmetrical causal analysis, the positive shocks in the interest rate have been identified with a double-directional cause to the positive shocks in the BIST100 index. Debate - In Turkey, the exchange rate of the dollar requires the BIST100 index, but significant effects on the BIST Transport Index have been identified, and it is believed to be an important indicator for
