T-Endo Mis ve EdgeFile X7 Eğelerinin Döngüsel Yorgunluğa Karşı Dirençlerinin Yapay Kanallarda Karşılaştırılması

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı T-Endo Mis ve EdgeFile eğelerinin 60˚eğime sahip yapay kanallarda vücut sıcaklığında döngüsel yorgunluğa karşı olan dirençlerinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: 10 adet T-Endo Mis (25.04) ve 10 adet Edgefile X7 (25.04) nikel- titanyum eğesi çalışmaya dâhil edildi. Tüm eğeler, 60 °’lik kurvatür açısına, 5 mm kurvatür yarıçapına ve 1.4 mm kanal iç çapına sahip seramik yapay kanal içeren statik döngüsel yorgunluk deney düzeneğinde 37 °C’de kırılıncaya kadar kullanıldı. Eğelerin kırılmasına kadar geçen süre ve kırık parça uzunluğu kaydedildi. Gruplar arası karşılaştırmada non-parametrik veriler için Mann-Whitney U testi, parametrik veriler içinse Student’s t-testi kullanıldı. Bulgular: EdgeFile X7 eğelerin döngüsel yorgunluk direnci T-Endo Mis eğelerden istatistiksel olarak anlamlı derecede yüksek bulundu (p < 0,05). Kırılan parçaların uzunlukları arasında iki grup arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık yoktu.(p > 0,05). Background: The aim of this study was to compare the cyclic fatigue resistance of the T-Endo Mis and EdgeFile files in artificial root canals with 60˚ curvature at body temperature Material and Methods: This study included 10 T-Endo Mis (25.04) and 10 EdgeFile X7 (25.04) nickel-titanium files. All instruments were used in a static cyclic fatigue testing device, which has an artificial ceramic canal with a radius of curvature of 5 mm, an angle of curvature of 60°, and a 1.4 mm inner diameter at 37 °C until the fracture occurred. Time to failure of files was recorded with a digital chronometer and fracture length was measured. In comparisons between the groups, nonparametric data were evaluated using the Mann-Whitney U test, and the parametric data were evaluated using the Student’s t-test. Results: Cyclic fatigue resistance of the EdgeFile X7 group was statistically higher than the T-Endo Mis group (p < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of the lengths of the fragments (p > 0.05). Conclusion: In this study, the cyclic fatigue resistance of the EdgeFile X7 instruments was found to be higher than the T-Endo Mis. Keywords:Cycle fatigue resistance, ,EdgeFile ,T-Endo Mis
