So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Aim: Toxoplasma gondii is an mandatory intracellular parasite. Generally asymptomatic, but ıt can lead to life-threatening infections at congenitally infected newborns and immunocompromised patients. In this study, we aim to identify the T. gondii seropositivity at pregnant women and to evaluate the relationship between IgG and IgM antibody positivity with IgG avidity retrospectively. Material-Method: Serum sample results were investigated which sent from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Outpatient Clinic to microbiology laboratory of Süleyman Demirel University for a request Toxoplasma gondii IgM, IgG and IgG avidity determination in pregnant women, between january 2008 and december 2011. Anti-Toxoplasma gondii IgG and IgM antibodies in blood samples were studied with Enyzme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) and, IgG avidity test were studied with the ELFA technique. For the IgG avidity test procedure results were assessed like as ≥ 30% high avidity, 21-29% intermediate and, ≤ 20% low avidity. Results: At 726 serum samples, Toxoplasma IgM and IgG positivity were detected in 39 (5.4%), 165 (22.7%) samples, respectively. In the twenty five IgG and IgM positive patients, 24 have high-avidity and one have low avidity. Discussion: As a result, serological parameters is important for diagnosis of toksoplazmazis in pregnant women for the prevention of congenital infections which will develop, additional methods, such as IgG avidity test exposures together seems to be a method of guiding the clinician to reveal suspicious situations. Key words: Toxoplasma gondii, avidity, pregnancy
