Bu çalışmada çeşitli yaşayış stillerine sahip toplumların mitleri dünya tasavvuru bağlamında karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiş ve mitler arasındaki ortaklıklar ve farklılıkların nedenleri tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda toplumların mitleri yer, gök, yeraltı, ay, güneş, dünya direği ve varlıkların cinsiyetleri başlıkları altında karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. İnceleme kısmından elde edilen verilere göre tarım ve avcı-savaşçı toplumlarda üç kozmik kuşaktan oluşan dünya tasavvurunun en önemli ortak nokta olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra varlıklara bir cinsiyet atfedilmesi ve ayrıca üç kuşağı bir arada tutan bir direğin varlığı diğer önemli ortak nokta olarak görülmüştür. Mitler arasındaki farklı noktaların ise ortak noktaların kılık değiştirmiş halleri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra elde edilen verilere göre ortaklıkların ve farklılıkların sebepleri tartışılmıştır. Tartışma sonucunda ortaklıkların sebebi Adolf Bastian’ın Birincil Fikirler, farklılıklar ise Bastian’ın Etnik Fikirler teorisine dayandırılmıştır.
In this study, the myths of societies with different lifestyle have been comparatively studied in the context of the world design and the causes of the partnerships and differences between the myths have been identified. In accordance with the purpose of the study, the myths of communities were comparatively studied under the topics of the earth, heaven, underground, moon, sun, earth and the gender of beings. According to the data obtained from the review section, the three cosmic generations of the world design in agriculture and hunting-waring communities have been found to be the most important common point. Later, the attribution of a sex to the beings and also the existence of a staircase that holds three generations together were seen as another important common point. The different points between the myths were found that the common points had changed clothes. According to the data obtained later, the causes of partnerships and differences were discussed. The reason for partnerships in the debate is based on Adolf Bastian's Theory of Primary Ideas, and the differences are based on Bastian's Theory of Ethnic Ideas.
