Amaç: Bu araştırma ebelik öğrencilerinin kadına uygulanan şiddete ve toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma 13-17 Kasım 2017 tarihleri arasında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Ebelik bölümü birinci ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri (N:166) oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem seçimine gidilmemiş olup, araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü 119 öğrenciye ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler, araştırmacıların literatür doğrultusunda geliştirmiş olduğu, öğrencilerin sosyo-demografik özelliklerini sorgulayan Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Kadına Yönelik Aile İçi Şiddet Tutum Ölçeği ve Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 20 programı ile değerlendirilmiştir ve istatistiksel analizinde; Bağımsız İki Örnek t testi, One-Way Anova, Mann-Whitney U Testi, Kruskal Wallis Testi ve korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin %42’si birinci sınıf, %58’i ise dördüncü sınıf öğrencisidir. Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20.46±1.89, %71.4’ü yurtta kalıyor, %54.6’sı ilde yaşıyor, %69.3’ünün ailesinin geliri orta düzeyde, %79.8’i çekirdek aile tipine sahip, %26.1’i aile içinde şiddete tanık olmuş, %50.4’ü yaşamı süresince herhangi bir şiddete maruz kalmış, %80.7’si şiddet ile karşılaşma durumunda bildirim yapacağını belirtmiştir. Öğrencilerin Kadına Yönelik Aile İçi Şiddet Tutum Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 34.96±13, Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 157.68±18.81 olarak bulunmuştur. Ebelik birinci ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin kadına uygulanan şiddete ve toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumlarının arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır (p>0.05). Sonuç: Ebelik öğrencilerinin kadına uygulanan şiddete ilişkin çağdaş bir görüşe ve toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine yönelik ise eşitlikçi bir tutuma sahip olduğu saptanmıştır.
Purpose: This study was conducted with the aim of determining the attitudes of pregnancy students towards violence against women and social gender roles. Method: The study was conducted between 13-17 November 2017. The universe of research is formed by the first and fourth-class students (N:166) of the Ebelik Department of the Nine-May University. There were no examples to be selected, and 119 students were reached to participate in the study. In the study, the data was collected using the Personal Information Form that questioned the socio-demographic characteristics of students, the scale of violence in the family and the scale of attitude of social gender roles. The data was evaluated by the SPSS 20 program and used in statistical analysis; Independent Two Examples T Test, One-Way Anova, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis Test and Correlation Analysis. Results: 42% of the students who participated in the study were first class students and 58% were fourth class students. The average age of students is 20.46±1.89, 71.4 percent stay in the country, 54.6 percent live in the province, 69.3 percent of the family’s income is medium, 79.8 percent of the core family type, 26.1 percent witnessed domestic violence, 50.4 percent suffered any violence throughout their lifetime, 80.7 percent will report in case of violence. Students' Violence in the Family Attitude Scale Total Score 34. 96±13, the overall score average of the social gender roles attitude scale was 157.68±18.81. There was no significant difference between the first and fourth-class students’ attitudes towards violence against women and the social gender roles (p>0.05). The conclusion is that students have a contemporary view of violence against women and a equal attitude towards the social role of gender.
