5-6 yaş grubunda çocuğu olan anne ve babaların çocuklarına karşı tutumlarının incelendiği bu araştırmanın örneklemini, Karabük\'te ikamet eden 381 ebeveyn oluşturmuştur. Veri toplamada Aile Bilgi Formu ile Aile Hayatı ve Çocuk Yetiştirme Tutum Ölçeği-PARI kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda annelerin çocuklarına karşı tutumlarının babalara göre daha demokratik olduğu bulunmuştur (P<0,05). Anne-baba tutumlarının, anne-babanın öğrenim düzeyi ve mesleği, çocuğun doğum sırası ve kardeş sayısı ile ailede diğer bireylerin varlığından etkilendiği saptanmıştır.

In this study which examined mothers\' and fathers\' attitudes who have children at the age of 5-381 family living in Karabük have been taken as the sample. A Family Knowledge Form and Parent Attitude Research Instrument- PARI for data had been used. It had been found that mothers\' attitudes towards their children (P<0,05) were more democratic than the fathers'. It had been found that parents\' attitudes towards their children had been influenced by their eductional level and professions, birth order of children, the number of siblings and other persons in the family.
