İletişimsel bir ilişkide iletişimcinin oradaki mevcudiyetinin sunduğu taahhüdü temel koşul sayan klasik önerme artık çökmüştür. Geç modern dönemin muteber iletişim biçimlerinin temel özelliği, eylemi failinden koparması ve söylemi simgesel bir çerçeve içine hapsetmesidir. Söz konusu iletişim tarzının, failleri kendi söylem ve eylemlerinin sonuçlarının sorumluluğunu üstlenebilme becerisinden yoksunlaştırdığı ise bir gerçektir. Zira her ikisi de iletişimde taahhüde dayalı ilişkilerin gitgide ortadan kalkışıyla birlikte, faillerin birbirlerine yönelik ilgilerini ayakta tutan eski vicdani yüklemlerin hükümsüz kılınışına tekabül etmektedir. İletişim, artık hiç olmadığı kadar anlık, parçalı, geçici, derinlikten ve süreklilikten yoksun bir süreç olarak deneyimlenmektedir. Bireylerin gerçek kimlikleri ile fiziksel mevcudiyetlerinin bağlayıcı etkisinin söz konusu olmadığı yerde de söz almalarına ve eylemelerine olanak sunan bu yeni birliktelik biçimlerinin iletişimsel öznenin etik sorumluluklarının hatırlatılması açısından yeniden tartışmaya açılması kaçınılmaz görünmektedir. Söz konusu tartışma, hiç kuşkusuz, iletişimin ontolojisine ilişkin bir tartışmadır. İnternetin sınırsız sanal uzamında ortaya çıkan yeni karşılaşma ve ilişki biçimleri, Zygmunt Bauman ve Erving Goffman başta olmak üzere, birçok düşünür ve iletişim bilimcinin de ilmi mesailerinin asal konularındandır. Bu çalışma, geç modern dönemin imtiyazlı kıldığı taahhüde dayalı olmayan, süreksiz ve geçici bağların peyderpey geçersiz kıldığı vicdani yüklemleri ve gitgide yok olan empati duygusunu, ortaya çıkan yeni ilişki ve iletişim biçimleri ekseninde irdelemeyi ve meselenin olası sonuçlarını tartışmaya açmayı amaçlamaktadır.
The classical proposition, which regards the commitment provided by the presence of the communicator in a communicational relationship as an essential condition, has already collapsed. The key feature of the notable forms of communication in the late modern period is to break the action off its actor and confine the discourse to inside a symbolic framework. It is a fact that the mode of communication debars the actors from the ability to take responsibility of their discourses and actions. Yet, both of them corresponds to the invalidity of ancient conscientious predicates supporting the actors’ interests towards each other with increasingly disappearance of the relations based on the commitment in communication. The communication is experienced as a process which is, as never before, instant, partly, temporal and is devoid of profundity and sustainability. It seems that these new coupling forms providing the individuals to take the floor and actions where the binding effect of their real identities and physical entities is not in question are inevitably come up again for discussion in terms of reminding the ethical responsibilities of the communicative subject. The discussion is undoubtedly an argument related to the ontology of the communicative action. The new confrontation and relation forms emerging in unlimited virtual environment in the Internet are the fundamental subjects of many philosophers and communicational professionals’ scientific works, especially Zygmunt Bauman and Erving Goffman. This study aims to scrutinize the conscientious predicates and increasingly-disappearing empathy which are not based on the privileged commitment of the late modern period and gradually invalidate the discontinuous and temporal connections within the scope of emerging new relation and communication forms, and to discuss the implications of the issue.
