Abstract:

In this study, the aim is to determine the agricultural mechanization characteristics of enterprises that produce Antep beans (Pistacia vera L.) in the Siirt region located in the southeastern Anadolu region of Turkey and in its districts. For this purpose, the survey work was carried out in 2019 in 165 selected using the layer sampling method in the villages where corn farming is intensely carried out. In the framework of the conducted survey studies, taking into account the land, tractor and agricultural tool machinery assets of beef producers in the region, the Siirt province’s current mechanization level has been tried to be determined. As a result of the assessment of the data obtained in the study, the number of tractors per operation is 0.43 units, the tractor motor power per operation is 22.51 kW, the average tractor power is 53. 06 kW, the number of instruments-machines per tractor is 2.02 units, the number of instruments-machines per operation is 0.85 units, the average tractor engine power in the unit area is 3.38 kW ha-1, the area where a tractor is processed is 15.69 ha. As a result of this study, when taken into account the number of instruments-machines per operating system and tractor, it has been found that the mechanization levels of enterprises producing Antepfıstığı are lower than the average in Turkey.
