Özet:

This paper aims at developing a system for how data in the different databases of several governmental and non-governmental institutions and organizations can be used in a more effective and secured way in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary researches while e-constructions are designed. In the study, first it is dealt with the sociological discussions around information from past to present day, put forward advantages (strong features) and opportunities of e-constructions from functionalist perspective, and disadvantages (weaknesses) and threats within the theoretical framework of surveillance society. The paper, while designing e-constructions, strongly underlies there must be taken into consideration advantages and disadvantages of e-constructions altogether, and stresses the social scientists must take more responsibility in the designing and development of e-constructions. e-City Model that we have designed is suggested as a solution for problems encountered in the process of e-constructions and a proper model for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary researches. Because of the fact that while other e-constructions do not have outer-partners, even sometimes inner-partners, and their data are not open to outer users and cannot be carried out multivariable-query, it is not be benefited from the available data as required, and number of the users remains restricted to the certain inner users only. But e-City Model overcomes these lacks, providing a multi-partner-user system, and multi-variable-query system and opening the data outer-users. Thus, thousands of researchers, academicians, experts, planners and so on can do inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary studies. In a situation, more realistic planning can be done and fast solutions for problems can be provided.
