Abstract:

It is very important to train teachers equipped with theoretical knowledge in the training of high-quality and qualified teachers as well as the direction of application. In this context, the foundations for teachers to be able to perform effective teaching are placed before starting their work life. One of the most important problems of teachers’ training systems is that the theoretically more intensely educated and adopted theoretical infrastructure of teachers’ candidates is not sufficiently reflected in practice. The teachers who will be a special educational teacher will be involved in the educational practice environment they will work in the future increases their success in the teaching profession. The experience of special training teachers candidates, more involved in the applied environments, reflects their professional lives in a positive way. The main objective of this research is the introduction of the "Project of Interaction with Special Needs" implemented in the first year of the special education department in Turkey and the evaluation of the effectiveness of the project according to the opinions of teachers candidates who participate in the project. The research has taken advantage of the content analysis of the quality research patterns. The study found that the interaction project was positively evaluated by the teacher candidates. Application projects have been shown to be useful in providing special training teachers candidates with the opportunity to observe and practice the application in real environments. Teachers candidates have stated that they are determined to their professional preferences at the end of this interaction project.
