Yedinci Sınıf Türkçe Dersi Millî Kültür Temasının Barış Manço Şarkılarıyla Öğretiminin Öğrenci Başarısına Etkisi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmada, yedinci sınıf Türkçe dersi millî kültür temasında işitsel/görsel bir öğretim materyali olarak kullanılan Barış Manço şarkılarının öğrenci başarısına etkisi incelenmiştir. Karma yöntem desenlerinden olan keşfedici desenin kullanıldığı araştırmada, ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı-deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, Erzurum il merkezinde Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı olarak faaliyetlerini yürüten bir ortaokulda, yedinci sınıfta öğrenim gören 51 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Kontrol grubundaki yedinci sınıfta dersler, geleneksel yöntemle şarkıdan oluşan öğretim materyallerinin dinletilmeden / izletilmeden şiir formunda okutulmasıyla gerçekleştirilirken, deney grubunda dersler şarkıların dinletilmesi / izletilmesiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada Doküman İnceleme Tekniği Verileri, öğrencilere ait bilgileri tespit etmek amacıyla Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Millî Kültür Teması Dinlediğini / İzlediğini Anlama / Anlatma Başarı Testleri kullanılmıştır. Kişisel bilgi formunun analizinde betimsel istatistiki işlemler, uygulamadan elde edilen nicel verilerin analizinde homojenlik testi sonuçlarına göre parametrik (t-testi ve varyans analizi) ve nonparametrik testler (u testi ve wilcoxon testi) kullanılmıştır. Uygulamanın deney ve kontrol grubunun her ikisinde de başarı üzerinde olumlu yönde etkili olduğu fakat deney grubunda geleneksel öğretim programına göre başarının anlamlı düzeyde daha etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğretim materyali olarak Barış Manço şarkıları “müzik destekli öğretim” yöntemiyle sistemli ve düzenli bir şekilde kullanılabilir.

Abstract:

In this study, the influence of Peace Manço songs used as a hearing/visual teaching material in the national culture subject of the Seventh Class Turkish lesson on student success was studied. In the research that used the detective pattern of the mixed method patterns, the pre-test-final test control group used the semi-test pattern. The research work group consists of 51 students studying in the 7th grade in a secondary school that operates according to the Ministry of National Education in the Erzurum province center. The classes in the seventh class in the control group are performed by the teaching of the teaching materials consisting of the song in the traditional way without listening/examination in the poetic form, while the classes in the experiment group are performed by the listening/examination of the songs. In the study, the Document Review Technique data, the personal information form and the national culture theme were used to identify the information of the students, and the understanding/explanation success tests that they listened to. In the analysis of the personal information form, the visual statistical processes, the analysis of the quantitative data obtained from the application, according to the results of the homogenity test, are used parametric (t-test and variance analysis) and non-parametric tests (u test and wilcoxon test). The application has a positive impact on success in both the experiment and the control group, but in the experiment group, the success is significantly more effective than the traditional curriculum. As a teaching material, Peace Manço songs can be used systematically and regularly through the method of "Music-supported teaching".

In this research, the effect of the songs of Barış Manço, which is used as an audiovisual teaching material in the seventh grade Turkish language course on national culture, was examined. The exploratory pattern from mixed method patterns is used in research; semi-experimental design with pre-test-post-test control group was used from experimental research designs. The study groups of research are consisted of 51 students who were on seventh grade of a secondary school in Erzurum province, which was affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. In the research, as a data collection tool, document ınspection techniques data, personal information form for the purpose of determining the information belonging to the students national cultural theme understanding / listening / explaining achievement tests is used. In the analysis of personal information form descriptive statistics processing, ın the analysis of the quantitative data obtained from the application, parametric (t-test and variance analysis) and nonparametric tests (u test and wilcoxon test), which are were used according to homogeneity test results. İn the experimental and control group, both on the positive success is effective but in the experimental group of traditional teaching program significantly more effective than of success according to the conclusion has been reached. As teaching material, Barış Manço songs can be used systematically and regularly with the method of "music assisted teaching"
