So many results that aren't mine?

Social studies is a primary and secondary school course that is formed with the disciplines such as history, anthropology, geography, sociology, law, political science which are social and humanities in order to educate individuals to be compatible with the society and their environment, aware of their rights and responsibilities, defending the benefit of themselves and the society they live in, sensitive to their environment and aware of the developments in the world. Due to its goal of preparing students for society and raising them as good citizens, social studies has been updated according to changing needs and incorporates different disciplines of science. The aim of this study is to reveal the subject weights and the disciplines of the value and skill to be given in the learning areas in the social studies course curriculum updated in 2018. As a data source of the study, the social studies curriculum that was introduced as a draft in 2017 and implemented in 2018 were examined. One of the qualitative research method, documentary screening technique was used in the study. The collected data were analyzed by content analysis technique. In this context, it is seen that the 2018 social studies course curriculum is associated with different disciplines at the level of general competences and learning areas. The learning areas associated with the disciplines of Citizenship, Sociology, Philosophy, History, Environmental Education, Scientific Research, Political Science, Economics, Science and Technology, Geography, Anthropology, Informatics, Law, Human Rights and Democracy, Psychology and Ethnography. Considering the weight of these disciplines in the  program it is Citizenship and Sociology with 71.42%, Philosophy, History and Environment Education with 57.14%, Political Science, Economics, Science and Technology disciplines with 42.85%, Geography, Anthropology, Informatics, Law with %28,57 and the disciplines of Human Rights and Democracy, Psychology and Ethnography are included with 14.28%.
